--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: Well, this has been the longest week ever. Did the election really have to be so fucking dramatic? Oh, yeah. It's 2020, so I guess so.

We spent all of yesterday finishing the closet. By the time we showered and sat down with our dinner it was nearly 10:00pm. Still have stuff to go through but the building part is done. Thank fuck.

We also got rid of our 1997 Honda Accord yesterday. Yay!

Touching Nature: We've had decent weather. A little on the warm side for November, but not too much so. Rain is coming this week and we actually need it. I did mow for what I hope is one last time. I also blew leaves and acorns off the area I want to put the firewood holders we're going to make.

Book News: I've read 3 books and wrote the reviews. Yay! I only have 2 weeks of NetGalley reviews, last week and this one. I had hoped to have a full month of reviews, but this year has been too weird.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Perry Mason on DVD, The Mandalorian, and we watched Major League because Trip had never seen it.

At the Flicks: None

Cyberspace Playground: None

Randomness: Okay yeah. I totally want one of these. LOL

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Measure twice, cut once.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. LOVE the closet! I feel like 2020 is now being over dramatic and it needs to calm down a bit.

  6. Great looking closet! I bet it feels good to have it complete. I'm looking forward to a new administration that cares about something other than themselves. And a woman in the White House! I've got some leaf blowing and power washing to do before that rain and cool down arrive. Have a great week!

    1. Thank you! It does. I still need to go through a bunch of stuff but rain is movingin tonight, so we'll have time for inside projects the next couple of days. I need to blow leaves and the house needs power washed, but I'll wait for next week. I'm heading outside right now to detail the vehicles. And yes! A woman is finally in the WH. It's about fucking time.
