--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: It's been a busy week. Between appointments, grocery shopping, Thanksgiving, Christmas decorating, and the usual household chores I have to tell you, I'm beat. I was just looking at my Google calendar and I have to tell you, my gast is flabbered. I have no appointments scheduled for December. For anyone in this family. *faints* Hopefully it will stay that way.

Touching Nature: Nice during the day, chilly at night. Typical November weather here. We've been using the fireplace most evenings. It's shit for heating, but it's pretty. I also got the mower out and chopped up the leaves instead of using a blower. Still need to use a blower at some point though. Maybe this week.

Book News: I have 3 book reviews to write for this week (yikes!) and 1 book (and then the review) left to read for my NetGalley November. I do believe I will actually accomplish the goal I set for myself this year. Yippee!

Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby and I had an NCIS marathon Weds night. Trip and I are about halfway done with The Defenders. We watched our first Christmas movie Friday. We always start out with Scrooged the day after Thanksgiving, eating leftovers while we watch it. Last night we watched Die Hard. We're off to a good start.

At the Flicks: Heading to see Justice League today. Woot!

Cyberspace Playground: Too busy for anything except Wordscapes on my phone.

Randomness: I'm not saying this happened. But it may have.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: If you say to yourself (or others) - "I'll do that later." - you won't. No, really. You won't. So, do it now. *says the person who still has some primered walls after moving in 17 years ago*

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  3. I've got a long list of things to do and didn't get to many of them. I ran out of gas, mentally and physically. LOL Before this month is over, we'll all be needing a vacation!

  4. Yay for no December appointments! I hope it stays that way - December is a good month to have a relatively empty calendar, since there's so much else going on!

    LOL to the pie ;) Have a great week Carol (and get to work on your writing plan for next year!) {HUGS}

  5. I remember the first time I watched Die Hard. I had just finished my freshman year of college. My best friend thought it was hilarious to watch me watching Die Hard because of my reactions. I believe at the end I was jumping up and down screaming "Shoot him, Carl!" It was intense.

    Yay for no more appointments and extra running! Isn't it nice to set your schedule and decide what you want to do? Oh, dishes? Ehhhh....they can wait until tomorrow. :)
