Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: I did stuff. Beats me what it was, but it got done. And last Sunday the grandbabies were over for a visit. Cutie Kyleigh and Uncle Trip had much fun and BB Boone is getting to be a chunky monkey at 13 lbs. And boy does he love to babble and coo. So much adorableness cannot be withstood! *thud*
Touching Nature: Rain, hot and humid. So much yay. Not.
Book News: I'm still behind in my challenge and don't expect that to change drastically any time soon, but I'm managing to stay below 20 books behind. So...Go Me! I am currently all caught up with drafts and reviews. Woot!
Don't Touch That Dial!: Nada
At the Flicks: Bupkis
Cyberspace Playground: I do love me some Charlie.
Randomness: Did you know you can change your language on Facebook from English (US) to English (Pirate)?! It's fucking hilarious!! Don't worry though. It only shows up on your page. No one else can see it unless they're looking over your shoulder. Credit goes to Michelle over at Because Reading since I saw her post about it on Facebook. :D
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Part two of last week's driving wisdom: I don't know about anyone else, but I try to hit the farthest spots first when running errands. Because by the time I'm sick of running around (and running out of steam), I like that the last ones are closest to home and, by default, closer to my jammies.
Congratulations! 2016 is 42% uploaded!

SUCH a cute baby - he looks very happy and placid. You have a great book haul there - The Blessed Man and the Witch looks intriguing. Have a great week both between the covers and outside of them:)
ReplyDeleteSo much cuteness! He is adorable :)
ReplyDeleteOh my you have me cracking up with the Facebook update! I'm going to have to go try it out now. I don't think I'll ever be able to look at it the same!

I had no idea about English Pirate! I have to check that out now. Too bad I can't do that on my blog... wait... :) no too much work but it sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteOh some interesting books, but I'm far more excited about the pirate English thing. Am off to try it now!
ReplyDeleteI got Rite of Rejection earlier this week also. Thanks for posting the Cate Dean one. I read her YA series and enjoyed it but somehow missed this freebie.
ReplyDeleteLess than 20 books behind! Your doing really good! I'm also trying not to get more than 20 behind, and right now I'm 15 books behind. So, yay us! I think that we deserve a bowl of ice cream. :)
ReplyDeleteBabies in general are adorable and cute. And then when they get older...not always so much. :) Happy reading!
