--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: I'd like to report that I have nothing to report. My week was mundane and boring. Though we are going to be watching the Super Bowl this evening and we're having friends over. I actually had to clean the house. Woah! Don't fall over in a faint. lol Munchies will be had and most of us are cheering for the Panthers since we live in NC and our respective teams (Browns, Bears and Titans) didn't do shit this year.

Touching Nature: I heard the Spring peepers peeping. While it's later than back in December when I heard them during the 70º spell, it's still too early guys. "Away with you. You should not be waking. Eat earth. Dig deep. Drink water. Go to sleep. Away with you."

Book News: Not as much progress on this front as I'd like, but that's ok.

Don't Touch That Dial!: A few episodes of Buffy and that's it. My friend Molly is plowing through Supernatural at warp speed and will soon be where we are in our rewatch (we're in Season 5). Shit. At least we've seen up through Season 8, but at the rate she's watching she'll pass us by this time next week.

At the Flicks: Getting close...

Cyberspace Playground: Omg, you have to watch Joe Santagato's videos. Jocularity! Warning: Bad Language.

Randomness: I think Cutie Kyleigh likes milkshakes.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. Enjoy the game, I'm looking forward to it too. Hard to believe it's Super Bowl time already. I also think spring is going come early, seems like it around here too. Our winter has been mild so I shouldn't complain, but I still do. :)

I laughed at that video, especially the hose part. LOL.

Oh, man that Joe guy is hilarious. But I had to go back and put a warning up because I forgot not everyone is ok with bad language. Oops. lol

    1. I have no idea what the puppy bowl is.

  4. That milkshake looks pretty tasty and I love her expression! We're rooting for the Panthers as well but that's mostly because my husband and I are big Auburn fans and my daughter is actually in her first year so War Eagle and Go Cam! We're having a pretty mild winter down here but I just know it's going to come back to bite us and we'll have a blizzard (well the Alabama equivalent) in April or some such nonsense. Have a great week!

    1. I want a milkshake every time I look at that pic. LOL

Panthers were so disappointing last night. *sigh* Oh, well. Maybe next year.

I have a feeling we'll get hit with something (snow/ice/snice?) when we really shouldn't. Like, in March. It's inevitable. lol

    1. I prefer boring weeks. LOL I mostly like watching the Super Bowl for the commercials, but this year at least there was a team I like in it. The way they played I would have been better off watching Netflix. LOL

  8. Slow weeks are a must to bring us back fresh and eager again. Kyleigh looks so happy! I probably look like that too when I get one. LOL

I maintain the general cleaning like vacuuming, mopping, etc, but dusting is something I despise because it's just so futile. I dust and 2 seconds later it looks like I didn't. So I had to dust and tidy up the clutter. That's as far as I went. LOL
