Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: I'd like to report that I have nothing to report. My week was mundane and boring. Though we are going to be watching the Super Bowl this evening and we're having friends over. I actually had to clean the house. Woah! Don't fall over in a faint. lol Munchies will be had and most of us are cheering for the Panthers since we live in NC and our respective teams (Browns, Bears and Titans) didn't do shit this year.
Touching Nature: I heard the Spring peepers peeping. While it's later than back in December when I heard them during the 70º spell, it's still too early guys. "Away with you. You should not be waking. Eat earth. Dig deep. Drink water. Go to sleep. Away with you."
Book News: Not as much progress on this front as I'd like, but that's ok.
Don't Touch That Dial!: A few episodes of Buffy and that's it. My friend Molly is plowing through Supernatural at warp speed and will soon be where we are in our rewatch (we're in Season 5). Shit. At least we've seen up through Season 8, but at the rate she's watching she'll pass us by this time next week.
At the Flicks: Getting close...
Cyberspace Playground: Omg, you have to watch Joe Santagato's videos. Jocularity! Warning: Bad Language.
Randomness: I think Cutie Kyleigh likes milkshakes.

Enjoy the game, I'm looking forward to it too. Hard to believe it's Super Bowl time already. I also think spring is going come early, seems like it around here too. Our winter has been mild so I shouldn't complain, but I still do. :)
ReplyDeleteI laughed at that video, especially the hose part. LOL.
Well, Panthers suck. lol And I also can't beleive that it was Super Bowl time! Yeesh.
DeleteOh, man that Joe guy is hilarious. But I had to go back and put a warning up because I forgot not everyone is ok with bad language. Oops. lol
Good luck with the Panthers, Steelers didn't make it so we really don't care. Love that photo of Cutie Kyleigh!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Browns fan so I have to say I'm glad the Steelers didn't make it. LOL Cutie Kyleigh is such a ham. lol
DeleteI am looking forward to the puppy bowl and the commercials otherwise I usually don't know what's going on.:)
ReplyDeleteKyleigh gets cuter with every picture you post! That smile!!!!
Have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading! ox
I have no idea what the puppy bowl is.
DeleteShe cracks us up. Can you believe she'll be 2 in a few weeks?!
That milkshake looks pretty tasty and I love her expression! We're rooting for the Panthers as well but that's mostly because my husband and I are big Auburn fans and my daughter is actually in her first year so War Eagle and Go Cam! We're having a pretty mild winter down here but I just know it's going to come back to bite us and we'll have a blizzard (well the Alabama equivalent) in April or some such nonsense. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI want a milkshake every time I look at that pic. LOL
DeletePanthers were so disappointing last night. *sigh* Oh, well. Maybe next year.
I have a feeling we'll get hit with something (snow/ice/snice?) when we really shouldn't. Like, in March. It's inevitable. lol
Joe is pretty funny. Go Panthers! Looks like Kyleigh could use another milkshake. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's hilarious. Poor Panthers. :( Ah, well. She'd probably love another one. I know I'd like one. :D
DeleteLook at Kyleigh cheesy smile..too cute! Het mundane and boring is good. 2016 has been shit here. I am just chewing xanax and hoping it all goes away..lol
ReplyDeleteShe's so funny. :) Yep, I have nothing against mundane and boring. More time to read. :) I'm sorry this year has been so shitty for you, Kim. I'm gonna wing some powerful {{{posivibes}}} your way. Brace yourself...
DeleteBoring weeks can be good. :) Enjoy the superbowl I will be watching netflix...lol. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteStormi
I prefer boring weeks. LOL I mostly like watching the Super Bowl for the commercials, but this year at least there was a team I like in it. The way they played I would have been better off watching Netflix. LOL
DeleteSlow weeks are a must to bring us back fresh and eager again. Kyleigh looks so happy! I probably look like that too when I get one. LOL
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post - http://fuonlyknew.com/2016/02/07/whats-new-on-my-bookshelf-146-and-the-sunday-post/
I would be completely fine with 52 boring weeks. :D You and me both! Now I want a milkshake. LOL
DeleteCutest Kyleigh picture ever!!! LOVE IT!!! And I'm not cleaning my house until spring or when my boys get healthy. Nope, not doing it...
ReplyDeleteFunny, we've got birds chirping here in Michigan early, too. Weird!!
Have a great week... Do do a thing ;)
She's a pistol. lol
DeleteI maintain the general cleaning like vacuuming, mopping, etc, but dusting is something I despise because it's just so futile. I dust and 2 seconds later it looks like I didn't. So I had to dust and tidy up the clutter. That's as far as I went. LOL
