Hello and Happy Sunday!
Happy Father's Day!
On the Home Front:
- Sunday - Once again I failed to update this post daily so...I did things? Oh! I mowed.
- Monday - Trip did the weedeating. I worked on my blog after taking Mr. Puggles to get some shots updated.
- Tuesday - Took Kyle's car to get an oil change and did some errands while out. Trip and I finally got haircuts. We were getting pretty shaggy. I picked Kyle up from work and Anna was home to help Nancy with the dog nail trims. Got a review book I've been waiting for - Rogue Darkness by Dianne Duvall. I love the Immortal Guardians! I started the book but kept getting interrupted. grrr
- Wednesday - I can't remember? I think I just worked on my blog. Then I continued to read the new book I got yesterday until I turned the last page.
- Thursday - Grocery pick up. Trip's 24th birthday.
- Friday - Hubby, Trip, and I went to Academy Sports to look for work shoes and a backpack for his new job. He starts route training Monday. Started the Saturday cleaning because I want to mow tomorrow.
- Saturday - Finished the cleaning, mowed the yard, burned the biggish brush pile, helped hubby cut down a tree and drag the branches out of the driveway. Picked up Texas Roadhouse compliments of Kyle for Father's Day.
- Today - Finish mowing up the drive then I need to repot two plants and maybe dig up and replant some ferns from the woods (we have a lot of them) by my birdbath. We'll have leftovers from yesterday so I won't need to cook.
Hubby trained all week. Did a DOT test, and safety training. Lots of other stuff. He'll start his route with another driver tomorrow. He'll be on a 2 on 2 off schedule, driving at night.
Mom's week: Infusion 2 was on Weds. She's been bleh but soldiering on. She lost more weight so we've been looking for things that will help her put on weight. She doesn't feel like eating but she does, about every 2 hours. I'm going up tomorrow and I'll be back Saturday. We'll see what kind of trouble we can get into.
Touching Nature: Hot. It sucks. We did a little bit of rain one day. Not enough though. I've been watering my flowers. Mowed Saturday and helped hubby take out a tree that was slowly dying.
Book News: I have several reviews to write. And so many books to read.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Just whatever is on Cozi or some other station while I read in the evenings. Usually Bones.
At the Flicks: Nope
Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Zen Match, jigsaw puzzles

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom:
1. Never trust a fart. Unless you are very very very sure.
2. If you ask yourself "Should I use the bathroom?" and there's a bathroom around, use it. Never pass up a chance to use the bathroom.
3. There are always going to be people around who annoy the fuck out of you. Ignore them as best as you can then treat yourself when they fuck off.
That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

yes I'm not excited about the heating up so I hope we get at least some of the rain predicted this week. I love Orphan X! I hope your trip this week goes well and you find some good mischief.
