Anyone who has been following my reviews even for a little while should know how much I love the Immortal Guardians as well as the sister series, the Aldebarian Alliance. These are my go-to books for when I need a pickmeup. I love that they have every element I enjoy in a book: paranormal, mystery, action, awesome characters, great dialogue, and humor. And an added splash of steaminess which isn't always a requirement for me, but enjoyable all the same. I re-read these books every year on my birthday. Usually just the first two in each series since that's all I have time for, but I may switch to book two this next birthday. That's how much I love them. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. I have every confidence that this newest book will be just as awesome. I can't wait to get my excited little mitts on it!
I also love that Darkness Dawns, Book 1 in the Immortal Guardians, is among the first books I reviewed when I started my blog waaaaaay back in 2011. Wait...maybe I'm immortal, too! If that's the case then I don't have to worry about Planet TBR because I'll have time to read ALL the books residing there. Woot!
