In 2018 The Write Reads was conceived with a Blog of the Day tweet which later morphed into Review of the Day and a Blog of the Day tweets where bloggers big and small were highlighted for the day in order to generate a wider audience. I've found so many new book blogging friends through TWR!
2019 saw the implementation of The Write Reads Blog Tours. In 2020 the BBNYA was added and everything is just growing by leaps and bounds now. Being a part of this community is awesome! Except for all the books I've discovered which I will never be able to read before I die. I can try though, amirite?
On December 28th, 2021 I did a 2021 TWR Book Tours Round Up and I'm finally getting around to 2019 and 2020. TWR did 7 tours in 2019 and the 2nd tour was a huge one with multiple books by Ben Galley. It was probably the largest blog tour so far. It certainly had the most books to choose from and bloggers could do one or all of them. Maybe we'll beat that one day. Goals...
My reviews/spotlights are linked under each book.
The maiden journey of TWR Blog Tours was launched with
After the Green Withered by the absolutely lovely Kristin Ward. Thank you, Kristin, for starting us off with a great book AND for coming back again and again. I'm so happy to have met you and read your books!

Ben Galley came to us with a huge challenge in the 2nd tour. He offered multiple books for bloggers to choose from and they did not disappoint. One day I'm going to sit and read his entire catalog.
Michael K. Hill brought us a poignant tale of love across time. Be warned: I cried.
My first experience with a serialized novel was a little rocky, but left me a tad intrigued. Many thanks to R.J. Furness.
Ah, Josie Jaffrey, how I love thee. I wasn't all that enthralled with this book, but when you came back with more I was hooked. Thank you for returning again and again.
Kenneth B. Andersen tossed us this humorous and charming gem of a YA Mythological journey of a boy who dies and goes to Hell. You did not read that wrong. Trust me. This is a great read.
We ended 2019 with Marisa Noelle's YA Dystopian Fantasy that I had to pause due to Life and have yet to get back to it.
Damn. I really need to squeeze that into the schedule.
