Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front:
- Monday was Memorial Day and we didn't do much of anything.
- Tuesday I mowed and Trip did the weed eating and I got done just in time to run Artemis to the vet to get the stitches out of her ear. All good.
- Weds we did errands. 11 stops. 11!
- Thursday was grocery pick up but once again Walmart was late. grrrr!
- Friday I wanted to work outside but I was tired and didn't feel like it. So I tidied a bit inside and then flopped on the couch and read.
- Yesterday was the usual Saturday cleaning and the added 1st weekend of the month cleaning. Exhausted. Kyle paid for Bojangles for dinner. :D
- Today we'll go see Dr Strange and maybe I'll do some stuff on the deck. Maybe.
Touching Nature: Got the mowing done on Tuesday. Other than feeding the critters that's about it for this week.
Book News: I have nothing to report here. This is getting ridiculous.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Almost done with Without A Trace. Yay! We're still debating what to watch next.
At the Flicks: Going to see Dr. Strange today. We haven't watched any of the shows (Wandavision, Loki, etc) so we may be a bit confused. Oh, well.

Randomness:
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Everything is horrible and ridiculous. Be sure to do something you enjoy.

I enjoyed the new Doctor Strange movie! Hope you did as well. Sounds like a busy week! I need to get better and set up days to clean certain rooms like I've seen so that I don't wait and have to do it all at once and dread it. have a great week!

Sometimes I do my cleaning on Friday so my weekend is clear. It normally doesn't take me all that long (sweeping, vaccuming, my bathroom, and the litter boxes which the kids help with), but the first weekend of the month gets a bit deeper clean, like changing the furnace filters, cleaning the air purifiers, wiping down the inside of the dishwasher which gets so nasty even though we rinse the stuff. WTF

ReplyDeleteYou, too? I commiserate. At least I didn't have to cook. Well, I wasn't going to cook anyway. I was just going to tell everyone they were on their own. lol
DeleteI think having the holiday doing nothing is perfect. This weekend has been lovely with a north wind and easy to be outside.

ReplyDeleteLOL Well, the car wash was one. Even though we didn't get out during that one, we did get out and vacuum the front after we finished going through it. And Arby's drive-thru probably only loosely counts as a stop. lol
