In 2021 The Write Reads had 26 blog tours. Wow! And I participated in every single one of them. Double Wow! I had a first chapter review for a couple I didn't have time to read for the tour and a couple of spotlights, but most were book reviews.
The genres are a wide range including:
sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal, YA, horror, contemporary, middle grade, historical, and suspense with most books combining one or more of the categories.
A bajillion (that's a legit number, right?) thanks to The Write Reads for hosting so many great book tours in 2021. What an awesome way to find authors I know I never would have found otherwise!
As you can see, I've linked my posts to the books. But I know what you're all thinking. Which book or books did I love the most? Well, I'm not sure. Can we ever pick just one? Here are some that stick out though:
Bad Habits is the only one I gave 5 bites to because I think it is entertaining, heart-warming, and humorous as fuck.

A Sparrow Alone and The Book of Uriel stuck with me for a long time because the subjects are hauntingly awful and yet the books are uplifting.
I give a bow to What Beauty There Is for ripping my heart out (yes, I have one!) and stomping all over it. That's not an easy task to do to this reader of all things.
Kate in Waiting and Instructions for Dancing are two that surprised me with how much I enjoyed them. The genres are ones that are way down my list of ones I love, so I went into them, not with expectations of not enjoying them, but that I would only just like them. If that makes sense.
And then there's Mirrorland. What.A.Mindfuck.
Wicked Little Deeds will be staying the rest of eternity in my freezer.
Many thanks to Shards of Earth and Aether Ones for rekindling my love of all things sci-fi.
I also must mention White Trash Warlock and my love for Adam the underdog.
Finally, The Chronicles of Iona: Exile made me like History. How dare you!
So, there you have it. So many books! Go check them out!
