--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: I'm exhausted. It's not that this week was particularily bad or anything. I'm just exhausted. I guess it's looming deadlines that are getting me down. Hopefully once I get the shit done I'll feel better.

Touching Nature: I think we've finally progressed into Spring. I'm sure it won't last. In the meantime, I need to muster some energy to get outside and do some planting.

Book News: I've read a couple more books and I've written many reviews. But I still have 7 to write. *thud*

Don't Touch That Dial!: Nothing. And now Netflix has removed Buffy, Angel, X-Files and seasons 1-4 of Bones. WTF My daughter is mad that House is also gone. She was only on season 3.

At the Flicks: Wanted to see Power Rangers this weekend, but we have to wait until Spring Break. I hate being broke.

Cyberspace Playground: Watched a little bit of YouTube, but only some newest uploads by channels I follow. Even then I only watched while I was eating since it's really hard to type while stuffing my face.

Randomness: Saw this Tentacuddle Wrap yesterday and immediately thought of monster porn. Too bad it was an April Fool's joke. lol
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Make a meal plan before grocery shopping. That way you can put down any ingredients you need and you're less likely to buy random shit. I'm not very good at following this nugget, but I keep trying and that's what counts. Also, don't go to the store hungry. Weird stuff you'd never in a million years try suddenly looks like a good idea when you Shop While Hungry. Don't do it. You'll thank me and the food banks you donate that stuff to will also thank me.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. LOL, yes when my hubby and I shop hungry bad things happen! I love the octopus blanket. If I wear nothing but that and surprise my hubby would that qualify as monster porn..hehe. I signed up for InTel Mag, but didn't get new one. The article on Audiobooks had me curious as comments like that piss me off.

  2. It's a disaster for me to go grocery shopping when I'm hungry too. LOL I still can't figure out why they dropped 1-4 of Bones??? I hope next week is better for you. And don't feel alone about reviews. I wrote and bunch and still haven't caught up either.

  3. Netflix took off Buffy and Angel?! Man, that sucks!

  4. Netflix too my Murder She Wrote a while back, that is the thing with streaming I guess, they take and then put new things on, but most of the time they put them back later. I know Murder She Wrote has been on and off there before. But it does suck when it's your favorite go to show! :(

    Have a great week!

  5. Murder She Wrote is gone too?! Noooooo. When are they going to take Andy Griffith? Guess I better finish watching that next! Dropping the first few seasons of a series that is still there and still (currently) running is stupid. When the final season goes up, everyone is going to want to watch Bones from the beginning...but oh, no. I hate it when The Man rushes me to the store and then gets exasperated that I don't have a whole lot of things I can think of to get. He doesn't get that I need to sit down, plan out whatever I want to make, and go from an ingredient list. He expects me to do it lickity split as we are going through the store. I hate shopping when I'm hungry because I end up buying $8927498734 of groceries. Or $200.
