Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: So. This whole week I was consumed with my office. We finally finished building and installing the shelves late Tuesday evening. I spent Wednesday complaining about my back and saving files from my old computer then setting up Trip's "old" (2021) gaming computer. Much to my surprise (and dismay) he hadn't erased anything. His desktop was absolutely consumed by game icons. I shit you not. lolol I put them all in the trash bin. Then I went through and deleted a bunch of files. I resisted the urge to open any of them. Not that I care if he has porn or anything because he's 24, but I really didn't need to see it. 😆 I will need to figure out how to wipe him from this computer because his shit keeps popping up. But that's for another day at some point in the near future.

Thursday was grocery pick up and some other errands then I spent a good long while putting away stuff and tidying snack drawers and the pantry. I did not work on my office. I was just happy to have a desk to work at. Which I found out is too tall at 30" for my office chair. I feel like a little kid sitting at the grown up table. I temporarily solved the problem by raising my chair as high as it would go then putting a pillow on it. Luckily, I have a foot rest so my feet are not dangling. LOL I see a new chair in my future.

I didn't do much Friday. Just the usual household stuff and then I finished reading a book. We picked up Chinese for dinner which we haven't had in a long while.

Saturday was cleaning day. I got it all done then unpacked a box of stuff for my office. I worked on a book review, got it posted then did a bit more blog work and went through emails.

Today: Yesterday I painted some dowel rods bright orange for today. Hubby, the kids and I are going out to the woods to mark our property line. We know where the corners are, but it's hard to see the outline. So we'll mark it out now while all the undergrowth has died back. After that I'm devoting the whole day to my office. Kinda hoping I'll get it all done, but it's a large project. I have tons of precious doodads I need to arrange (and dust) then I want to take all of the office supplies and misc shit off the other shelves to sort, tidy, and rearrange. I have a feeling I won't get finished, but hopefully I'll get the majority done.

Touching Nature: Warmer and rainy/cloudy/rainy/cloudy/rainy...well, you get the idea.

Book News: I read and wrote a review for a new release by an author I love. It was a nice relief from the stress of my office mess.

Don't Touch That Dial!:  Bones, Lucifer, & NCIS. Again, all over the place. Hubby and I are watching Psych from the beginning (because hilarious), but I can't settle on anything on the evenings he's working.

Randomness:  

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. We really should have cut all the wood Monday afternoon instead of waiting until Tuesday morning. Because then maybe we wouldn't have spent 12 hrs working on the shelves and such.
