Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: Trip and I worked outside this week. Kyle worked some OT early yesterday which meant we got up at 4am and we had the ankle biters Friday for a sleepover. This was the first time Oliver came with Kyleigh and Boone. He's 10 months old and did fine. He was up at 4am, but after a diaper change and a bottle he went back to sleep. Hubby took Kyle to work since I was busy with Oliver. Hubby and Trip were going to take Kyleigh and Boone fishing but it rained Friday night and it was wet and muddy out. Maybe next time.

It's been a busy week. I'm tired. lol
Touching Nature: Trip and I have worked outside a bit. It was too hot for April in NC. 80s?! WTF Anyway, it's going to be much nicer this week (70s) so we should be out there a bit more getting some things done. I also need to mow. And when I say mow, you should know I mean weeds because we sure as fuck can't seem to grow any grass.
Book News: I haven't been able to read all week. And it's making me cranky. I also still have 3 reviews to write, one for this week that I actually read last December. I may as well re-read it at this point. What. An. Idiot.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby and I are progressing slowly in season 4 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Trip and I are finishing up a Witcher rewatch before we start on a Marvel rewatch. That's a lot of content (between tv and movies), gonna take us awhile. Also watching the Hurricanes and the Indians.
At the Flicks: We saw Godzilla vs Kong last Sunday. Some moments were just too dumb and I rolled my eyes rather severely. However, we enjoyed it.
Cyberspace Playground: Nope
Randomness:
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: A little love and attention goes a long way.

You had a busy week, I am glad you got the little ones to hang with they are just too cute.
ReplyDeleteI love the Dodo, I catch myself watching them all the time, I love a good happy animal story! :)
have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading!
Our lawn is hidden by waist high weeds at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you enjoyed having the kiddies, even if they kept you busy and awake.
Wishing you a great reading week
Oh I'd love to have a baby around! Overall we've had awesome weather with just a little rain. I also have the weeds. I'm going to be adding some topsoil and sod with grass later in May to also get rid of some drainage problems. I'm worried about the lawn mowing since standing is not my best thing yet. I hope you have a good week outside!
