Hello and Happy Sunday!
Hello April!
Yeah, I didn't have time to do up an image. lol
On the Home Front: Kyle now has 2 weeks under his belt at the new job. He got his first paycheck Friday. I think he's pleased. lol
Hubby and Kyle had Friday off. So this weekend has been messed up. I kept thinking Friday was Sat and Sat was Sun. lol
Friday afternoon we had an unexpected visitor. A guy hubby worked with years ago stopped by. It was so nice to see him!
Hubby and I picked up some project supplies at Lowe's and Trip and I will have some work to do outside this week.
Other than that, this week has been fairly mundane.
Touching Nature: It got chilly. Thanks for that Ma Nature. Temps will be climbing again this week though and Trip and I will be working outside. Yay?
Book News: I have nothing to report here.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby and & I have 2 more episodes then we'll start season 4 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Trip and I watched Aquaman. Also watched the Cleveland Indians since MLB opened (their home opener is tomorrow) and we've watched the Hurricanes.
At the Flicks: Going to see Godzilla vs Kong today.
Cyberspace Playground: Nope

I'm hiding in a corner because the words "project" and "Lowes" (or Home Depot or any of those places) trigger me. LOL
ReplyDeleteI'll hide in a corner with you! I don't want to do all these projects but I also don't have the money to pay someone to do them. Plus, we can do them ourselves so I'd feel bad for spending the money if we had it. lol
DeleteAhh the bliss of a pay check when you are only responsible for yourself!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed the movie
Wishing you a great reading week
He seem spleased with it. lol
DeleteWe enjoyed it! (even though some of it was super eye rolling lol)
I enjoyed Aquaman! I think it's the only one of the DC movies I actually like... Hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteWe liked it, too. I also enjoyed Justice League and Wonder Woman, but I'm more of a Marvel person myself.
DeleteWe have been doing what we can outside. This week is looking beautiful with things planted and rain later in the week. My ex is mowing the lawn today. I asked him if he wanted me to set up the mower. Oh no, he can do it. But no, he ended up needing my help. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
It's too hot for this time of year! 80s! WHY?! lol Trip and I took it easy and are getting a few things done. No planting yet. Will probably start that next week.
DeleteLOL to your ex.
We saw Godzilla V Kong on Saturday! It was so nice to be in a movie theater again. We have HBO Max so we could have watched it at home but I was dying to go to the theater - and what a perfect movie to see on the big screen with the action and loud noises haha. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Hope you enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteSome movies are best on the big screen. And Godzilla is definitely one of them. lol We enjoyed it!
