Isak Jekyll and Blaise Hyde are two beings in one body. Isak has taken over his dad’s terrible secret, but at what cost? When Chasity Nichols comes into their life everything changes. But is it for the better or the worse?
I wanted to love this classical retelling so much. The premise is fantastic and I really like the characters. But the writing is atrocious. And the grammar? Awful. There is an editor listed but the job was either half-assed or it wasn’t actually edited at all. There are spelling mistakes, grammar and tense issues, timeline wonkiness, and just all around bad editing. The dialogue is stilted and the characters feel as if the author is pushing them through the motions. It feels forced and doesn’t flow naturally. This story could have been so much better with a decent editor. I’m sad.
