--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: Kyle started his job with hubby on Monday. He had 3 days of paperwork and orientation and then started training in earnest on Thursday. His feet are killing him by the time he gets home and he's tired, but seems to be adapting well overall. I told him to just wait until his first paycheck hits next week. Then it'll all be worth it. lol

Anna's schedule this week had her opening, so the house was all quiet by 6:15am. With Trip still sleeping I was able to listen to my audiobook without the headphones until it was time to feed the furries.

The rest of the week was just mundane stuff. Nothing exciting.

Touching Nature: Thunderstorms! In fact, it's thundering right now as I draft his post late Saturday afternoon. Yep. Definitely Spring.

Book News: I'm so behind on everything. That's all.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby and I are in season 3 of Star Wars: The Clone Wars in our Star Wars watch and Trip and I have finished Batman vs Superman, Wonder Woman, and Justice League in our DC movie watch. We also watched the Hurricanes.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Nope

Randomness: Every home should have at least one can of this stuff.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom:

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. I love (gentle) spring thunderstorms. They make the best background sounds for reading. Enjoy your week! ♥

  2. We had spring the last two days and should go back to winter by the end of the week. My favorite is the spring thunderstorms but lately we have getting some wicked win.

A quiet house before 6:15 sounds lovely! lol

Have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading! xx

  3. I'm enjoying spring with things growing but it looks like I might have to mow this week. Oh to only have mundane and boring. But I am excited about planting in the garden.
