--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: I might be getting caught up. On some things anyway. It feels like an improvement though so I'll take it. Artemis and Mr. Puggles went to doggie daycare on Monday so the cats could have the run of the house and they didn't even notice until 1:30pm that the hallway gate was even open. LOL Then Nox went Weds for dental. That's about it for my week.

Appointments going on for this coming week. I hate appointments, but only 1 is for me. Will also be dropping off hubby's truck to get the clutch done. It's past time for that and we'll need it to get building supplies when we start building our garden shed. Hopefully next month. We're buying a pre-cut wooden shed from Lowe's, so basically we only need to get the foundation, shingles and paint and then we'll probably need a weekend to build it. That's the plan. But knowing us it'll take a lot longer. LOL

Touching Nature: Cooler and some rain late in the week, about 2" of it. But mostly nice and I did absolutely nothing outside. *sigh* Maybe after the supposed rain coming Tuesday it'll be dry long enough for me to burn some more brush and misc wood. We'll see.

Book News: I have 1 review to write!!! And it's a book I really enjoyed so it'll take me forever to write it. Because reasons. I'm also something like 27 books behind on my Goodreads challenge. I haven't lowered the number yet, but at the pace I'm going I just might do it soon.

Don't Touch That Dial!: A few Perry Mason and the Cleveland Indians.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Puzzles on my iPad. Not sure when this addiction will end.

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Ever have a drawstring come out of a pair of sweatpants or a hoodie? Have a large safety pin on hand for just such an occasion. Spear the string on the end with the safety pin and close it up. Then push it into the hole where the string goes. It's easy to guide it from the outside because of the large safety pin. Just push and pull until it comes out the other side. Ta da.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. Bwahahaah it's also always difficult to write a review for a book I loved! Good luck with it!

  2. I'm loving the cooler weather. It was still kind of wet today with clouds. I'm hoping to do a bunch of yard work tomorrow. It looks clear after the Tu-W rain but they don't predict well that far out. I need to do more weed killer. Where the heck did Sept go? Have a good week!

  3. I always find it easy to write a review for a book I loved. The thing is I have to write it immediately or my thoughts go right out the window. LOL

Hope you have a great week!
