Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: Kids and my COVID tests came back negative. Anna's and Trip's came back Tuesday. Kyle's came back Weds morning and mine Weds afternoon. We were all in the same car and had them done at the same time. WTF.
I made AT&T come out again this past week because their internet is total SHIT. The tech that was here said everything was good then before he could even walk to his van the internet went down. HA! FINALLY!! It completely fucked up while someone was still here! So, he worked for 2 hours on it from the pole to the house and then called another guy to take over from the pole down the road. Apparently it's a union thing. Anyway, that tech was out there, up and down the road, for 4 hours and the internet hasn't been intermittent since. So maybe it's fixed for the time being. Who knows?
Anna's compressor went out on her car and she had no A/C. I got her car to the dealer and they said it would be $1000. Um, no. We have a service agreement, dude. Did you not even bother to check that before calling me back? WTF So, we only paid $100 deductible. That's the 2nd big repair for her car (both times the A/C) and she's only had it a year and a half. Don't buy a 2010 Honda Civic. We love Hondas, but this particular one seems to have an A/C issue.
I have nothing else to report for this week.
Touching Nature: Hot, hot, fucking hot. Then Thursday the bottom dropped out and we got 4" of rain in about 12 hours. But it didn't cool anything down. That would be too nice.
Book News: I'm on a binge with a new series I found. I have about a dozen or so reviews to write. Oops.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Not much. We watched the Cleveland Indians home opener Friday evening. That was just weird.
At the Flicks: Nope
Cyberspace Playground: Nope
Randomness: To be fair, I called it this long before COVID-19.
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Everything is just exhausting. Hence the book binge. So, binge my pretties. Binge.

I am so relieved that your tests turned out negative!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes it is hot and staying home is fine for us. Glad you tested negative. Enjoy some great reads this week!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
That’s fantastic news about the results.
ReplyDeleteNot so fantastic about $1000, I hate garages, they never seem to check paper work and always try and pull a fast one!
Have a good week and hopefully it’ll cool down - send the heat over to Scotland!
