--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: Been another fairly quiet week. Hubby has done a few more projects, but I've been lazy as fuck. lol I did mow this week and I burned brush and stuff yesterday, but otherwise I've just been chillin'. I managed to get appointments for all 3 dogs to get their nails trimmed - on 3 different days. *sigh*. Also, why do dogs have a fucking quick, anyway?! The vet has been closed to trimming for a month. My dogs' nails are approaching Nosferatu length. Now I'll have to take them about every week to get the quick to recede. Ugggghhhh. Anna did manage to trim Vengeance's nails once, but he's not really a fan and it stresses him out. Artemis and Mr. Puggles have black nails and she's hesitant to do those. Anyway, that's enough whining.

Also, how the fuck is it the middle of May already?!

Touching Nature: It rained when it wasn't supposed to. Then it got hot. I mowed this week and yesterday I burned brush and some old pine. I'll probably do more of that today. Of course, it's a million degrees out, so it's a lot of fun. <<<sarcasm

Book News: I had 11 reviews to write and I wrote 1. Woot! lol It's supposed to rain this week, so I should manage to get them all done. And the posts for those reviews need drafted, too.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Still watching Perry Mason on hubby's DVD collection. We'll probably head back to Supernatural soon.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Nope

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: I need a For Fuck's Sake emoji for all the stupid out there. I just can't with these fuck weasels.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. Well we all have our ups and downs right now. It sounds to me like you got things accomplished. We also have issues with the nail trimming but the vet did Lulu's this week.

It's been almost 90 here this week and too hot to want to do things but with the next 5 days supposed to rain. Yeah I've been lazy because pretty soon it will be in the 90s all the time. I've just enjoyed the 70s so much!

I hope you have a great week and stay well.

  3. Yes, I'm with you on the quick! Buffy could use a trim too. We're depending a lot on walks right now to file them 😕. And if you get a fucks sake emoji please share. I could use it frequently. Lol! Have a great week!
