--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: Hubby had 2 phone interviews this past week and a face-to-face with a company on Friday. He should get a call back this week with a yay and yet another interview or a nay. Let's hope for a yay because the place is literally 5 minutes from here and 4 days a week. Plus, more pay, bennies, and 401k. Really hoping he gets it. He's also got a phone interview tomorrow for another company. But still hoping for the 5-minutes-away place. Please cross fingers/toes and wing some good mojo our way. *begs with puppy eyes*

I had Hospice pick up our old washer and dryer. They have a thrift store, so it was a donation for them and got them out of my way. Win-win. Which reminds me, I need to stop in and look for an end table.

Had the grandkiddos for an overnight Friday. They didn't want to go home Saturday. lol

Touching Nature: Very Spring-like. Warmish, coldish, rain. Lots of rain. I have daffodils  and hyacinths blooming. *sigh*

Book News: I think I have 5 reviews to write and I hope to get them done today.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Finished Dexter. What a stupid fucking ending. Ruined it all. Ugh. Then hubby & I watched The Witcher because he hadn't seen it yet. After that we started a rewatch of Supernatural. We never did get much past season 9, so season 10 and on will be new for us. By the time we finish that maybe it'll be October and season 2 of The Mandalorian will be on. Trip and I are now on season 2 of Star Wars: Rebels. Plus, Hurricanes hockey. So, a lot of tv watching this past week.

At the Flicks: Hubby and the boys saw Birds of Prey. I had no interest. Not much of a DC fan. The said they want to see Sonic next week. Again, I have no interest, so reading time for me. Yay!

Cyberspace Playground: Nothing

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Sometimes you just gotta have some junk food for dinner. Or any meal, really. Why? Because I'm fucking sick of cooking. lol

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  5. I am a believer in junk food for dinner, lunch, and breakfast, I don't like to cook either, lol. Fingers and toes crossed for your husband! I'm looking forward to the second season of The Mandalorian; October seems so far away!
