It's time for a brand new challenge for the New Year: 2016 Bookish Resolutions Challenge hosted by Laura at trips down imagination road and Michelle at Because Reading.

You can sign up HERE anytime between December 1st and March 1st. The Challenge starts January 1st and ends December 31st. The 2016 Bookish Resolutions Challenge is about setting New Years Resolutions for books and book blogging.

Reading Goals
1.  Get my NetGalley % up to a minimum of 80. Currently at 45%

2.  Finish 3 series that I ha
ve started and that are now complete.
          Sookie Stackhouse
          The Hollows
          Night Huntress

3.  Listen to a minimum of 1 audiobook a month in addition to the ones with the boys.

4.  Work on backlogged review requests. Try to rebuild review spreadsheet that was lost when computer crashed to help with this goal.
Blog Goals
1.  Write reviews no more than 24 hrs after completing book unless real life interferes.

2.  Draft posts for current reads, so I only have to slot in the review when finished.

3.  Draft meme posts a few months ahead of time.

4.  Maintain alternating schedule as closely as possible: M-W-F then T-TH-S with a weekly Sunday Post.

4.  Start new memes: InD'tale Treasure Chest and Kindle Reviews
Personal Goals
1.  Develop healthier habits.
         Move more
         Drink more water
         Give yoga a try

2.  Get this catastrophe of a filing system under control.

3.  Write/plot/research my stories a minimum of 20 minutes, 3 days a week.

Bonus: Money permitting, finish the Exterior Library. Post pics.

  1. Sounds like great goals. I will say that both The Hollows and Night Huntress are great on audio, so you could kill two birds with one stone there if you wanted. I've not tried the Sookie Stackhouse series on audio, so I can't comment on it, but I love the narrator, personally. Good luck on your goals.

    1. I have them in paperback/hardcover, so I'll continue with them in that format. :) I do have several audios from Audible I need to listen to so I can at least get started on that goal. lol

  2. These are great goals and a lot of them are things I need to do as well...I also don't feel so bad knowing someone else has a NG percentage like mine. :) I am going to try and get it up as much as possible. Which means I need to learn to quit clicking every book that sounds good and learn to just put some on my wishlist....lol.

    1. My NetGalley November brought my % up by 20. Yay me! And it has helped that I've stayed away from NetGalley, so no more clicking. :D

  3. These are awesome goals! I will totally make sure you do them all this year!!!! My netgalley I hope to get to 80% I am at 70% now and really fighting the urge to request more books lol

They have apps that will remind you to drink water, I used to have one but had to delete it on an update but I suck at drinking so I might download it again.

    Good Luck with your Goals!

    1. I have a dumbphone so no apps for me. But I'm going to do my best to at least *try* to make my goals. :D I'll be reading some NetGalley books as soon as I finish my January reads. Only 1.5 of those left. Yay!

  4. Good luck with all your new reading goals and challenges for 2016.

    1. The Hollows is my favorite series - it's excellent, although the last two books faltered

Sookie, liked the first half of the series much better. Good series worth reading

I don't do audiobooks but I share your goal of Netgalley to 80%, although it's a back burner goal and I didn't write it down. I need to drink more water too! :)

    2. I'm still working on the water thing. Well, and several other things. lol But it's a process and there are still 357 days in the year. LOL
