--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: I'm happy to announce my dad is back home as of Friday evening. After my youngest graduates from high school next month I'll be making a trip up to see my parents. From this point forward I'll probably be making a lot more trips to Ohio to see them. So much easier to do now that everyone will have graduated. Thank goodness we finally have a reliable vehicle again that can handle the trip.

Yesterday we participated in the Pokémon Community Day. It sucked, for me anyway. Then we went to a Greensboro Grasshoppers game. The weather held, but the Grasshoppers lost. *sad face* The fireworks show afterwards though was awesome as always. Unfortunately, the Grasshoppers lost their bat dog Friday evening to cancer. They had a lovely tribute to Miss Babe Ruth. I'm not crying, you're crying.

Touching Nature: Rain, trying to rain, a little rain, rains a lot, cloudy, trying to sun, rain.  I mowed on Tuesday. That's pretty much my week.

Book News: I finished one book. That is all.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Still watching The Flash Season 2 and CSI Season 7.

At the Flicks: Nothing yet.

Cyberspace Playground: Nothing.

Randomness:  You're welcome. lol

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: I'm too tired for nuggets, tenders or popcorn wisdom.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. YAY! Dad is home! Swing by NJ on the way to visit we can go for drinks and dinner! ;) lol That would be awesome!

It rained so they weren't popping up as much as we would have liked and my son and I only caught two shinys. We were out for about an hour and a half. My son said they don't do good in rainy weather so I am thinking they forgot to turn off that feature on the app. Might be why they were spawning as much.

I hope you have an awesome week, Carol! Happy Reading!

    1. Um, that's like waaaaay out of my way. But OKAY!! Woot!

The rain cleared out before the event for us. Trip said charmander will die if his tail goes out so rain is bad. lol

      I hope it's awesome. XOXO

  4. I’m glad your dad is back home. That’s sad about the dog. My dog died from cancer 10 days ago. :( Have a good week!
