--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was my youngest child's birthday. 17 years old! A Senior in high school!
Where does the time go?!?! *thud*

Happy Birthday Kyle!

On the Home Front: More stepdaughter drama. So much so that we've made the world's most difficult decison to cut ties completely. It breaks our hearts that we won't be seeing the grandkiddos any longer, but we can't keep dealing with her bullshit, lies, and using her kids as pawns in a manipulative twisted power play. So, we'll be here when the grandkiddos are older and want to connect with us.

Touching Nature: It got into the low 80s and we probably hadn't had rain in a month when we finally got a decent amount yesterday. Supposed to rain some more in the coming days. We sure could use it.

Book News: Not much to report here other than I still have 9 reviews to write. The week kinda got away from me.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Still watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but I hate to say I'm slowly losing interest. We're not quite to the end of Season 2. I'll keep watching because Trip is dying to see Ghost Rider.

At the Flicks: Nada

Cyberspace Playground: Still playing Wordscapes on my phone. Man, that is an addicting game. And now I've hooked hubby on it. hehehe

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: The No-Win Scenario sucks ass.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  2. Oh CRAP! I was hoping it wouldn't come to that. I am sorry, I know it must have been such a hard choice for you both to make. I can't believe she is still causing such an issue.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYLE!

We actually need rain so the weather gods have planned for Rain the next 3 days. Yay! *rolls eyes* :)

Have a great week Carol! If you need to chat I am around! Happy Reading! ox

  3. I am sorry to hear about the drama. I know you adore those babies. I cannot believe your baby is 17. Time does fly. Do you know 2000 babies will all be adults in 2018? All babies born in the 1900's are adults. But the Math doesn't add up. You see I was born in 66 and just turned 41. Non-linear time line maybe?

  6. I'm sorry that it has come to this painful decision regarding your stepdaughter. It is awful how some parents use their children to manipulate emotional situations such as these, or in custody battles. I hope she will come around. We are supposed to get a cold front tonight, but I think it will just be a 10 degree drop, not a true cold front. We'll see.
