--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!
This is my 200th edition of The Sunday Post! 😲

On the Home Front: There was much going on. I had deadlines and I'm learning Wordpress as well doing the usual stuff here at home. But I got a lot done. So yay me! I've been sick and not sleeping well. Stupid cough needs to just go already. Still pretty tired, but feeling better. I will carry on.

Touching Nature: Hot, rain, hot, rain, lather rinse repeat. Fuck it.  Fuck all of it. Including power outages.

Book News: I finished one book, but haven't written the review yet. I had a lot going on and I was a bit frazzled. But hey, I completed my Goodreads challenge! :D So I saved the image and then upped my goal from 100 to 150. So...now I haven't finished my challenge. lol

Don't Touch That Dial!: Trip and I managed a few Star Wars: Clone Wars in our rewatch and then he, hubby and I had a Supernatural marathon on Friday (7 episodes) and again yesterday (11 episodes), so we finished season 10. Thank the gods. I needed that marathon so bad. Trip got Star Wars: Rebels for his birthday so we decided we'll have a marathon of season 1 today. That is a LOT of tv for me, but it's all good.

At the Flicks: Nope, but Spider-Man: Homecoming will be out soon.

Cyberspace Playground: Nothing.

Randomness: My eldest child knows me well, he put this on my FB wall. I want this!

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Sometimes, you just gotta put on your jammies, eat junk food and binge watch your favorite show(s). It's great therapy.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  3. LOL That oven mitt is so clever and you made me snort when I read your thoughts on the weather! It was like that all week here, but the weekend has been nice. Been enjoying the pool and reading outside.

  4. I love the oven mitt. WordPress is easy and I love the control I have. Sale ended for The Haunting book. I shall wait to hear your opinion. Congrats on reaching your goal!

  5. Wow, 200th post as well! Greg also wrote that this week. It's totally awesome, how many years is that even?
And you go on your GR challenge! Mine's a hundred too, but there's no way I'm upping, cause I'm already behind :D
    Have a great reading week!

  9. I need to do some serious catching up on Supernatural. I've read The White Magic Five and Dime and enjoyed it, but now I'm two books behind in the series (and there's only 3 so that's pretty sad). Hope your weather improves. I always hate the threat of summer storms and power outages because my pups get so hot - who am I kidding, I get hot too!
