--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: It's my birthday today and I'm not doing a damn thing. Well, we'll go to the Friends of the Library sale since it's bag day. $10/bag and we stuff all we can into them. They have to be FotL bags but I saved mine from years ago and they have a flat bottom instead of the tapered bottoms they have now. I can cram quite a lot into those. Mwahahaha!! We'll have cake and I'm not cooking dinner. I cook on Thanksgiving and Christmas so I refuse to cook on my birthday and Mother's Day.

In other news, yesterday hubby & I tackled the bedroom and closet. Cleaning, you pervs. Hard to do kinky stuff with people all over the place. Anyway, when April, Josh and the grandkiddos moved in we had to clear out the guest room (cough junk room cough) and a lot of that crap ended up in our bedroom. The closet was a lost cause awhile ago and has needed a purge, so we killed two birds with one stone. No actual birds were hurt in the purging. Still have a lot of shit we need to go through, but at least we can walk in the bedroom again and we can actually get in our closet! So, yay!

Touching Nature: Mostly chilly with more than a chance of Fuck You from Ma Nature. Forecast is looking warmer again this coming week though.

Book News: I finished some books and I am now sitting on 7 reviews. I'll get to them next week. I should be back to visiting next week, too. *fingers crossed*

Don't Touch That Dial!: A few NCIS, but nothing Earth shattering.

At the Flicks: Nuffin

Cyberspace Playground: On the 20th Anniversary of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's debut I accidentally got sucked into a YouTube fandom black hole. Oops.

Randomness: Yes. I have had this happen and it is super scary! I can't believe I survived the heart attack.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: I had something super wisdomy to share and was feeling very smart and life hackable then...I forgot what it was between the time I thought of it and drafting this post. Now, I'm feeling very Patricky.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You totally deserve to spend the day doing absolutely nothing. You know what? For your birthday I am going to do absolutely nothing also to celebrate! :)

I wish they had those library things by me, I would love to fill a bag full of books.

The weather is stupid and I don't like it. Ma Nature needs to get her shit together because she's confusing me.

I hope you have a great week! Happy Reading, Resting and Eating Cake! ox
