AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!

Hard to believe that half of May has already flown by. I was not as productive as I would have liked this past week, but I did get my reviews down to 5. Of course, I've since been binging on my Buffy graphic novels and now have 6 more to write with another 2 to read thus finishing up Season 8. I have no idea where I'll find Season 9, since my library doesn't have them. Shit! (not literally, well maybe) I also have a couple of other books I'm winding up, so those reviews will need to be written as well. They will put a dent in the 16 books I'm behind in my Goodreads Challenge. There's still plenty of 2015 left though so I'm not worried about making my goal. Yet anyway. I also didn't get to the monster porn books for tomorrow's post, so I won't have an extra post this month like I'd hoped. I'll shoot for next month instead.

I did add my 2013 Goodreads Challenge books to my BookLikes shelves. I have no idea why I thought that would be a good idea, but...oh, yeah, I do. I was supposed to be writing reviews and I was left unsupervised. Never a good thing. But the 278 books are on BookLikes now and on the proper shelves, too. So, yay!

Yesterday hubby and I went outside to plant the tomato and jalapeño plants and some various seeds as well. But somehow we got sidetracked and ended up cleaning up the area around the firepit. We did eventually get back on track and everything we wanted to plant get stuffed into the dirt. Mission accomplished.

Today we are taking the kids to see Avengers: Age of Ultron. I have no idea what it's about and I don't care because Thor! And Iron Man! CGI, ass kickings and shit blowing up! Bonus that it's directed by Joss Whedon. How bad can it be?! I anticipate a good time will be had by all.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

Nothing to see here. I didn't find anything I wanted to add,
but then again I wasn't looking very hard. I have so many books
now I think my brain is on overload.

  1. No shelf additions, wow. I sure can't say that.:D

Do you have NetFlix? I think they might have Buffy. Enjoy Age of Ultron, it looks good. And yay for updating BookLikes, procrastination FTW! :D

    1. Yeah, I didn't think it was possible to add so few books for so many months. LOL Don't worry. I have thousands to keep me occupied. :D

Netflix is where I watched Buffy and now Angel. Thank goodness they didn't remove it in April like was rumored. *mini heart attack* Age of Utron was awesome! I want to see it again. lol

  2. It is IMPOSSIBLE to stay on top of those reviews! Every time I get it down, I lose motivation to stay on top of them or I don't have time to write soon after finishing and before I know it I have a stack to write again.

  3. You will come up with all kinds of excuses not to write those reviews, I am sending the hellhounds. You have been warned.
