AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!
I had a decently productive week all things considered. I whittled my reviews down from 22 to 7, I turned in my reviews to InD'tale Magazine ahead of schedule instead of the day they were due and I drafted 19 posts and scheduled most of them for this month. So...yay me! I do still have a few reviews to write for this month and I did not visit blogs like I had hoped, but baby steps. I spent all of Friday and part of yesterday working on some things for InD'tale Magazine, so that stuff is also done. Double yay! All things considered I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.
This coming week, weather willing, we will be putting plants in the ground. I'll also need to mow again. There's a 70% possibility that we'll get some other projects done assuming we aren't struck down by the Lazies. Or rain. If it rains I predict a 100% chance of tv marathons on Mon. and Tues. Hubby is working Weds. & Thurs., so if it rains I'll be reading or writing reviews. Maybe both.
I did not have the opportunity to binge read my graphic novels. I'm hoping to get to those real soon and then you'll be treated in June to multiple days of Buffy graphic novel reviews. LOL
*wipes crumbs off mouth*
Sorry about the missing slice. I was just...um...taste testing it. Really!

Help yourself. I don't stand on ceremony here. :D
DeleteThat cake looks amazing! Great job going from 22 to 7! What a great seletion of books you have.
ReplyDeleteStill have 7 to do, but they'll get done. I hope. lol
DeleteI loved Buffy when it was on but I never read any of the books. I really need to now. I kinda didn't even realise there was any. That cake looks yum.

I should have realized there would be comics/graphic novels. Now it's just a matter of finding them somewhere (like the library or used bookstore) so they don't cost me an arm and a leg. LOL
DeleteWow sounds like you had a productive week with lots of review writing going on! I wrote 4 reviews this week and that already feels like a lot. Good luck with planting and your garden! We have a balcony, so not much space for planting, but we do have some plants in pot in our house and on the balcony.
ReplyDeleteNice haul you got this week. I never realized there were books from Buffy. I hope you'll enjoy your new books and happy mother's day!
It was probably the most productive week I've had in awhile. Now I need another break. lol Just kidding.
DeleteHoly CRAP! You were a blogging machine! I need to get that going, had some Ryan problems this week so I didn't get as much as I wanted done but I did a few logos and stuff so that is somewhat productive.
ReplyDeleteI did my garden yesterday and my butt muscles are KILLING ME! Muscles I didn't know I had hurt but it was so much fun and it looks great :)
Have a wonderful Mother's Day and Happy Reading!
Well, maybe a mini blogging machine. I still have lots to do. lol I need some graphics but have no clue how to do them. At the very least I need a Monster Porn Monday one. Someday, someday...
DeleteLOLOL Butt muscles! I know that feeling! It's still a bit wet out, so we'll probably work on our stuffs later this week. *fingers crossed*
Sorry, I'm drooling...LOL You blow me away with your blogging ahead and getting so caught up on reviews. My Netgalley and Edelweiss books are screaming at me. LOL
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new reads and Happy Mother's Day!

DeleteI still ahve some work to do on the blog, but with some luck I'll be all caught up by the weekend. I hope. *fingers crossed* And sweet Baby Jane, don't mention NetGalley to me. I am SO far behind there! *cringes*
Good job catching up on your reviews! Was traveling for work and stuck on airplanes and in airports. I have a few to write before I'm caught up.
