AVR News Update
Hello and Happy Sunday!

AND
to our son Trip who is

Time sure does fly. It seems only yesterday I was out delivering the newspaper when I went into labor. I got half my route done, made it to the hospital with about 20 minutes to spare, popped him out then sent my husband out to finish my route. Most of the customers who called asking where their paper was were understanding when the office told them I was delivering a baby instead. But there's always a few sour pusses. *shrugs* Can't please everyone.

In other news: Exams are done and school is out. Cue Alice Cooper (I love Alice Cooper!)...

The kids will have a busy week coming up. They'll be getting DDS and Ortho app'ts out of the way and haircuts as well as cleaning out their clothes and getting some new stuff before heading to Ohio for a visit with my parents. Yep. We will be kid-free for about a week-and-a-half. :) We spent Friday having a Supernatural marathon. 14 hours and 17 episodes. Great Scott! I can no longer stay up until 2:30 in the AM even when I do sleep until after 9:00. The change in routine about killed me today. lol

And finally: *pause* Nope. That was it. I got nothing else this week.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. XGeneration looks interesting. So does Hyde and Death Whispers. Oh wow...I can't believe you sent your husband out to finish your paper route! That's hilarious! But very responsible of you. Maybe that appeased some of the sour pusses. Hope you have a great week!

    1. All 3 of mine needed braces. Anna is out of them now, Trip will need another round once all his baby teeth finally vacate and Kyle is in top braces now, waiting for his baby teeth to fall out. *sigh*

  4. Baby stories are great! Happy Birthday to your son, I hope he has a great day!!!

Because of my change of cable provider I lost this season of supernatural so my husband and I are looking forward to catching up on the series when it is available on Netflix or TV. Was so made to miss this season but I am sure we will catch up! Those Winchester boys are hard to stay away from :)

I hope you have a great week!!! Happy Reading!

  9. Happy fathers day to your hubby and happy birthday to your son!! 15!! They grow so fast don't they! Love the story - out delivering papers, wow! You pushed it to the very last minute, didn't you? (I'm a step-mom, so I skipped that part lol)

I can't wait to read your fat vampire review, since I own it and haven't actually gotten around to reading it! Have a great week Carol :)

It was busy and I'm exhausted. I'm meeting my mom halfway and she'll take the kids up. Hubby & I will follow in a week-and-a-half. :)

  14. What a great birth story! Happy birthday to him! A kid free week and a Supernatural marathon seems like a lot of fun. It is too bad we're not able to keep the hours we used to. I've found that 2AM isn't a regular thing for me anymore. Have a great week!

    1. Thank you! :) I look forward to this time of year. We get some alone time and the kids get to travel and visit without us. Win-win.

I remember when I could stay up late and then get up early. Not anymore. LOL

  15. Fat Vampire Value Meal :) love it.
Happy Birthday to Trip - what a great story about his birth, and kids love it when you tell them about their birth. With my youngest (who is 15 is well) I went into early labour in the morning but really didn't want to go into hospital (it was my 3rd child so I knew it can take ages) so I went supermarket shopping with my mum and kept stopping 'arrh, hold on just a minute', bit of breathing, and off we went, continue with our shopping. When we came home from the supermarket I went to the hospital… I was there at 10 and she was born at 10:25 LOL
Have a great week and Happy Reading.
