Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: Between ear infections (Artemis & Oscar) and other appointments along with grocery pick up and other stuff I've been kept busy. I did some blog work this week, got some stuff done for The Write Reads, and did Kyle's and Anna's taxes last Sunday. Got ours very nearly done Monday. Anna took Oscar to work Thursday for a long overdue groom and he came back all spiffy and ready to par-tay! Not sure how long he's staying so we're just treating him as one of the fam.
Behold the cuteness!
In other news, our T-Mobile home internet gateway does not get as good a signal (to the gateway and the wifi in the house) as the original so I've had to run an ethernet cable to my office. I hate it (I had to throw a rug over it in the living room to keep humans and furries from tripping over it), but it's loads faster so until I can figure something else out this will have to suffice. Ugh. It is always something!
Touching Nature: It got chilly at night. Brrrr! And windy. Good lort! I might blow away if I didn't weigh way more than I'd like. However, more Spring-like temps are in the forecast. 70s/50s are very doable and quite nice. Yay! Hoping to get outside and start doing some Spring clean up this week. I've been letting the weeds grow for the bees, but I want to grab some plants soon. Also need to make some firewood racks, finish splitting the wood pile, and move all the wood that's under the deck in prep for next year when we put the addition off the back.
Book News: I've drafted several posts and still have many to do. Also still have many reviews to write but hope to knock a few out today.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Almost done with Lucifer and Psych. Still watching Bones with Anna.

I can relate - we have to have an ethernet cable to keep all the family members happy (especially the teenage gamer!) and it means we can't shut the lounge door properly. Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteOne of my daughter's computers needs the cable but lucky it is next to the router. We are having similar weather and finishing up taxes and needing to more spring cleanup. I hope this week has more steady weather than the huge swings this past week.

We've run our ethernet cable up along the wall and then round the top of the room, partly to protect from the rabbits and partly so we could route mine through the hallway all the way to me. We got little clips to hold it with, with self-adhesive pads to stick the clips onto, and it really looks pretty tidy.
ReplyDeleteWe are also in the midst of taxes. I always get it started, now my family has to go through it and check everything and add the missing pieces. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute pup!
ReplyDeleteI need to do my taxes and I have Spectrum Cable running across my floor, which everyone trips over despite me pointing it out and saying "Watch out for the cable..."
