Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: This month is a busy one. Appointments, Christmas shopping, and just life shit in general to do.

Tuesday Trip and I had eye doctor appointments and we're all good. Then Artemis had her eye pressures rechecked (at the vet, not our eye doctor lol) and the glaucoma drops are working. Yay! Not quite where she should be, but so much better. Recheck in 4 weeks.

Wednesday my brother signed the paperwork to sell the farm. The rest of the week I've just been incredibly sad. It had to be done. None of us wanted to take it on, but that doesn't make it any less sad. My entire life, 55 yrs, has been that farm. Mom and dad bought it the year I was born, but had to do some work inside before we moved in, so we ended up moving in right before my 1st birthday. I married in 1985, but then George and I lived there after I divorced his dad in 1990. We moved to NC in 1998, but we always went back to visit and the kids spent 2 weeks every Summer there when they were old enough. Anna started when she was just 4. The boys when they were a bit older. It's just been an emotional roller coaster week.

But the Earth still turns and stuff needs done, so I carried on.

Touching Nature: Been windy. Cold at night, warmer during the day. Friday I did finally manage to burn a brush pile that also had old hoarded wood in it from when we cleaned out the 12'x12' shed.

Book News: Nothing new to report here. Been a busy week.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Decided to start Bones from the beginning, but only when I'm eating. I'm trying to get back into a reading zone.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Word Lots, Solitaire, jigsaw puzzles

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: When in doubt, consult the Magic 8-Ball.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.
