Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front:
- Sunday - Got mostly caught up from being gone. Hubby worked.
- Monday - Did grocery pick up.
- Tuesday - Um...I don't remember what I did. Oh! Window World got the new sash installed for the boys' room. I think I just worked on the blog all day.
- Wednesday - Hubby worked. I did blog work.
- Thursday - Hubby worked. I'm really hating his schedule where he has to sleep during the day.
- Friday - Hubby had his interview with Toyota in the afternoon. He thinks it went well, but we'll see.
- Saturday - Did all the usual cleaning and the first weekend of the month cleaning then went out and mowed. I didn't die in the heat and humidity. Showered then made tacos for dinner.
- Today - R & R. Hopefully. Kyle's going to grill us some steaks.
Mom's week: 3rd chemo infusion and she's doing ok. She gained nearly 3 lbs. in a week. Woot!
Touching Nature: Hot. Hot. Ugh. Mowed the lawn yesterday. It was absolutely disgustingly humid out. Just as I finished and sat down on the porch to drink a bottle of water it started thundering and the rain came down. Suddenly it was 20º cooler. Nice!
Book News: Finished a book and wrote a couple of reviews.
Don't Touch That Dial!: I started a rewatch of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Man, I forgot how much the video quality for season one is major P.U.
At the Flicks: Nope
Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Zen Match, jigsaw puzzles
Randomness: Wait, wut? I'm an adult now?! Nooooooooooo!!!!

I'm glad to see you are enjoy Evan Smoak. I am so worried for him. Excellent that your Mom is doing better. I didn't think my lawn needed it just yet, but now it probably does and it's so HOT.

I've been fooled by that cat scam more than once, sad to say. I'm so gullible. I am glad your mom seems to be doing okay. Chemo is so hard on the body.That is great news that she gained weight! I hope you enjoy your reading and have a great week and 4th of July!

DeleteThis is her 2nd round of chemo. Infusions this time and they don't seem to be as hard on her as the pills were. Though the pills were combined with radiation last Fall. She got really weak. She said if the infusions had that effect again she would just stop. But so far not as bad.
lol, that's so true about cats and my dogs. Such little opportunistic beasties.
