Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front:
  • Sunday - Tidied and some other stuff in the morning then read for a bit before watching Murdoch Mysteries with hubby.
  • Monday - Did stuff? I can't remember lolol
  • Tuesday - More stuff? Mostly on the computer I think. lolol
  • Wednesday -  Took Kyle to work. TSC pick up and took Anna's car through the car wash since she'll be home Saturday. Did the mowing and a few other outside things.
  • Thursday - Took Kyle to work. Hubby off. Grocery pick up at Walmart then hit BJ's gas station and then the store for some groceries. Afternoon of Murdoch Mysteries.
  • Friday - Took Kyle to work. Hubby off. Then Kyle decided to take a half day so hubby picked him up. They put together the new desk for hubby and set up Kyle's "old" gaming computer, so the 3 of them can start playing Warhammer together. LOL
  • Saturday - Cleaned all day then showered and headed out to pick Anna up at RDU. Was gone much longer than anticipated (flight was a bit late then the luggage took forever), but she's home safe and sound after being gone since the 3rd.
  • Today - Read maybe? I want to make a quick run to Food Lion first thing in the morning. Definitely want to relax. I have a whole chicken I hope will fit in my Dutch oven to make for dinner. It should fit. 🤞
Mom's week: Anxious and itching to get home. I'm heading up on Thursday to help move all her shit back to the farmhouse. lol I'll be back Sunday though. She had another immunotherapy infusion Weds. Seems to still be doing ok with them. Hopefully they are doing some good. She has a new Hot Wheels coming. I call it her off-roading Hot Wheels because it has big pneumatic tires so she can use it on the gravel driveway to get the mail. lol She's also getting a new medic alert and it's a watch instead of a pendant (which she kept setting off when trying to get clothes out of the washer lmao) which I think she'll like especially since it has a pedometer. She's been wearing one on her waistband so now she can just look at her watch.

Touching Nature: Nice cool Spring weather this week. Got 2.5" of rain Friday though. Did the mowing on Weds. I still have so much to do outside, but it will have to wait one more week.

Book News: Slowly making headway in this category. I'm not really enthralled with my current read so it may be a DNF for me.

Don't Touch That Dial!:  Murdoch Mysteries season 12. Unfortunately Hulu is removing it tomorrow, so we won't get to see the rest. I'll search around, but we're actually thinking of getting it on DVD. We really like this show. So, we may start Bull.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Zen Match, jigsaw puzzles

Randomness:  Mine would say Eat Shit, but to each their own.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom:

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

Nope

Purchased ebooks

I can't remember if I showed this audio from Audible that I got a few weeks ago. It was included in my KU. Nice!
I need to pick up book 2 for my next trip to Ohio.

  1. Exciting for your Mom to be going home. Have a safe trip. I love Orphan X. I think the backyard fence thing works if you are an old white guy but not so much for a 20s young lady. (of course I'm not 20s but my daughter is) And sunburn would be a big issue for our family. lol

Anne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post

    1. She's just itching to start moving stuff now and hating waiting until Friday. LOL Hubby hasn't read or listened to book 1 but we'll listen to book 2 for the trip. I think he'll enjoy it.
