Hello and Happy Sunday!
(post written on Saturday)

On the Home Front:
  • Sunday - My eldest spawn showed up for a visit and stayed to help move some of mom's furniture into the assisted living. Bro, nephew, and niece-in-law finished painting the shop.
  • Monday - Run, run, run.
  • Tuesday - Move in day! Run, run, run.
  • Wednesday - Run from sun up to 9:30pm.
  • Thursday - See previous days. I'm bone tired. And my ankle is killing me despite wearing a brace. We loaded the Pilot with 36 retaining wall blocks and 9 pavers as well as an old dresser of mine Anna will use. It's a lot of weight but not really when I do the math.
  • Friday - Did something to my right wrist when carrying things. Getting old sucks. lol Packed up my Pilot and Anna's Civic (we each get a dog, Rocky for me and Puggles for her lol), visited mom, left for NC at 1:00pm. Yikes. That's a much later start than I wanted, but we convoyed in at 9:30pm. Not bad. I asked the guys if they missed me and they said yes and Trip gave me a bear hug. Trip. The germophobe. I guess he really did miss me. lol Guys helped us unload both vehicles then I crashed into bed.
  • Saturday -  Up at 7:00. Cleaning day. Oh. Yay. Got a bunch of other stuff done, too.
  • Today -  Hoping to do some rearranging in Anna's room then relax. I'm fucking exhausted.
Mom's week: So busy! Her first days at her new digs were a bit rough. Had some wrinkles in her medicine that we had to straighten out. She was throwing up, too which she hadn't done at home. She would eat and feel ok then get nauseous and boom. Icky. Report from this morning (Saturday) though was better. All food kept down. Yay! She wanted to go down to Bingo, but was tired and decided to take a nap. She's walking more with her Hot Wheels (what I call her rolling walker) and she'll have a nice hand-made bag for the front soon to carry her stuff. The more she walks the less her ankles will swell and the stronger she'll get. I think I managed to get her addicted to loose leaf tea and now I need to make some bags for her because she needs an easy way to steep it in her room. In the meantime I gave her some boxes of Bigelow and Twinings tea.

Touching Nature: Cold and windy in Ohio. Woo-eeeee. Nipples as Lethal Weapons weather.

Book News: I read a book and wrote the review. Woot! Then I finished 2 audios on the drive home. I now have 13 reviews to write. I'll find time at some point.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Mom sure likes the game network and Leave It to Beaver. Anna and I watched Nightmare Before Christmas which, for all these years, I had never seen. Then she had me watch Heartstopper. Only watched 3? or 4? episodes before I had to go to bed. It was a tiring week and I couldn't keep my eyes open.

At the Flicks: Not yet.

Cyberspace Playground: Still Wordle and Zen Match

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Sweet jeebus. Exercise. All the activity this week has nearly killed me. I need to do some actual exercises and lose some serious weight.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.
