Hello and Happy Sunday!
(post written on Saturday)
On the Home Front:
- Sunday - Relaxed.
- Monday - I had a dermatologist appt and Trip had dental. We also ran the Pilot through the car wash and grabbed one of the last Arby's orange milkshakes.
- Tuesday - Grocery pick up and BJ's run.
- Wednesday - Got the oil changed in the Pilot, so that meant breakfast at the diner next door. Yum.
- Thursday - Yardwork
- Friday - Rain, rain, rain, wind, power outage starts at 7:30pm.
- Saturday - Trip and Kyle went to the movies while hubby and I had lunch at Chili's. Then stopped at BJ's to order Kyle's birthday cake and Kohl's looking for a present. Power finally comes back on at 4:30pm.
- Today - Idk
Mom's week: mom was having a rough week then Thursday around midnight she wasn't feeling well, so took an ambulance ride and got a refill of fluids. After that she's been doing better.
Touching Nature: Weather was fairly nice until Hurricane Ian came up and dropped 4" of rain and knocked out the power for 21 hrs. Trip and I got the yardwork done at least.
Book News: I now have 11 reviews to write. Yikes.
Don't Touch That Dial!: On season 3 of Lucifer.
At the Flicks: Trip and Kyle went to see The Woman King. Trip really wanted to see it. I think Kyle went along for the popcorn.
Cyberspace Playground: Still Wordle and Zen Match
Randomness:
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: I got nothing.

11 backed up reviews to write is a lot....and we all know how time consuming that is! I really try to stay current because if I fall too far behind the reviews become mini reviews and after that, they just drop off the list. :) Happy reading this week.

I'll get them done eventually. I may even do a few mini reviews or 5 things I like or some other way to mix it up. After 11 yrs of blogging I need something different. lol
DeleteA lot of up and down this week. Sorry to hear you lost power which isn't fun. We just had some heavy rain and I felt like the Grinch making Lulu go out in it to pee. I hope this week is much better for your Mom.

This year just sucks. lol If we had city water it would be better (toilet flushing), but we have a well. Ugh.
DeleteOh, I know. We're so mean making the doggos go out in it to do their business.
She's doing better so far, but I'm heading back up the 9th and staying until the 20th so Anna has some help.
I'm glad your mom is feeling better after getting some liquids in her. I also love your Halloween banner. :D
