Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front:
  • Every morning I get up and take Kyle to work. His and hubby's schedule will change on July 11th then he and his dad can go back to carpooling. I really need to make time for him to practice driving. They both took the week of July 4th off. They already have the 4th & 5th off so that was just 3 extra vacay days. I have work planned for us. LOL
  • After taking Kyle to work I feed the furries, walk the dogs, feed my critters outside, and water plants. The rest of my days are whatever shit needs done around the house then an attempt to read in the afternoon.
  • My Walmart grocery order on Friday was 2 hrs late so I cancelled it and Trip and I went instead. Maybe I'll just start going early in the morning. Pick up was convenient, but the service has gotten shitty. Maybe I'll just combine all my errands in one day.
  • So, Roe vs Wade got royally screwed by the fucking Supreme Court and I'm livid. The only way to make sure this doesn't happen again is to vote all the fucking politicians out who decided (or those who enabled this to happen) they are the ones to tell us what to do with our bodies. This country had best unfuck itself!
  • Saturday my sis-in-law took my mom to the ER because she wasn't feeling well and they didn't want to wait until Monday to see the doc. Preliminary tests indicated she's anemic again when her tests in April were good. So, she got a transfusion while they try to figure out what's causing the anemia. All posivibes, etc appreciated.
Touching Nature: Mowed Tuesday. Trip whacked the weeds. I cleaned the bird bath, refilled feeders, cleaned and refilled feeders for my Tiny Patrons (hummingbirds), and sprayed the bird shit off my Pilot. I also watered my seedlings and they're doing well. Except the jalapenos which never came up. :( It did not get as hot this week as predicted, but it was still upper 80s/low 90s and humid as fuck. I want to wash vehicles today. We'll see.

Book News: I've been reading 3 books I need to finish. I have several more to do. I need more hours in the day. I also did half of my excerpts for BBNYA. I'll do the other half this coming week.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Almost done with season 2 of Supernatural. Cruising right along.

At the Flicks: Trip wants to see Jurassic World: Dominion. Maybe we'll go the week of the 4th.

Cyberspace Playground: Still Wordle and Zen Match

  2. LOL as if you wouldn't read a book in one sitting! That made me laugh.

and this "This country had best unfuck itself!" Hell yes. Unfortunately it's been working really hard to fuck itself since at least 2016 and it's going to take a lot. I will of course be fighting the good fight as long as I have the ability. Waiting to have my voting rights taken away too, seeing as we're stripping away constitutional rights these days.

Anyway... on that happy note lol Have a good week!

  3. I hope you have a good vacation and get lots done next week. :D

I whole-heartedly agree with your sentiments on Roe v. Wade. I'm so livid and sad and dismayed at the state of our politics right now.

  4. I say vote while we still have that right. I've always voted but I've never been so aware of politics and the issues as I have since 2016. Stay cool!
