On the Home Front: Still getting quotes for windows. If we're going to be spending about $20,000 then I need to pick the right windows and the right company. Because that just makes me go EEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Not much else going on this week. Busy with the usual stuff, but nothing new or spectacular.
Touching Nature: Hot. Too hot to work outside. For me anyway. I should really do stuff inside, but don't want to do that either. I have no motivation right now. I can't wait for cooler weather.
Book News: I'm staying afloat. Barely. I wish I could get into a routine.

In other news...After a brief bout of windows, tractors, and home remodel projects ads, I have once again manipulated Facebook into giving me more book ads. My KU list on Amazon is quite large now. LOL
Don't Touch That Dial!: Almost done with Medium. Sometimes Allison is such a whiny bitch I just want Joe to walk away from her for a bit.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Always get more than one quote for things if at all possible. Do internet research if you can't. The Better Business Bureau is a good source to check up on companies as well as review sites.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you 100% on the weather and projects. I am trying to do some inside but I don't feel very energized. I like to think I'm resting up. The weather is always the next 5 days in the 90s and then some 80s. the five days pass and it's 5 more days of the 90s. Maybe Ida will bring us some rain and cooler temps?

ReplyDeleteIt's too hot to go outside here too so I'm staying in an enjoying the a/c! I never could get into Medium - maybe because of the whole whiny bitch thing? Good luck with the windows! We have to do that in the next year or so and I'm NOT looking forward to it. Have a great week!
