Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: Hubby and Kyle have been getting up to go to work at 3:30am the last few weeks. Some days I went back to bed, some days I didn't. Yesterday Kyle only had to work 5-9 (am), but hubby was there 5am-1pm and he had to go in today 5-11 (am). Hopefully the orders are now caught up (since they finally are getting parts in) and they can go back to a 7-3:30 shift.

I still need to put down the linoleum in the new garden shed. It's been too hot and I don't feel like it. Plus it rained this week. lol Maybe Trip and I will attempt it this week. Or maybe we won't. We'll play it by ear. When the weather cools down we are going to have a lot to do outside.

I had Champion Windows come give me a quote for new windows. Pella is coming tomorrow morning. I also got a quote to asphalt the drive and for a new sub-compact tractor with some implements. One of these projects will win, but only one. Because holy fuck! Talk about expensive. As much as I would love a new tractor I think we'll end up getting windows. Our windows have leaked cold air ever since the house was built. Fucking shitty ass builders using the cheapest piece of shit windows. Ugh! But additionally, they are a good investment for our home in value and energy savings. So, some big decisions coming up.

Tuesday I go for an ultrasound to see if I have fibroids or anything else that was making my uterus misbehave back in April. I haven't had any problems since, so...your guess is as good as mine.

Touching Nature: Hot and humid. Gross. A decent amount of rain this week, too. We needed it. Trip and I tamed the feral greenery Friday.

Book News: I am caught up on my book reviews! *dances*

Don't Touch That Dial!: Still watching Medium and all done with Season 1 of The Bad Batch.

At the Flicks: Not yet.

Cyberspace Playground: Nope

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Always be aware of your dangly bits.

  1. The "Randomness" picture had me cackling far louder than it probably should have, lol. Loved it!

Hope you have a good week. :)

  2. I was glad we got a little rain but yes it is hot enough I don't want to do outdoor work unless it's early and I'm not usually up that early. I know what you mean about the big projects as I just had my roof replaced and I'm redoing the kitchen. I can only stand so much and pay for so much in a year.

    1. Big projects suck so much in the cost and mess, but so worth it when they're done. lol After doing the garden shed I've just wanted to be a giant slug. But hot weather is awful and I hate it so we'll be plenty busy when it cools down.

  3. Medium? The old show with Patricia Arquette? I used to like that show and the dynamic with she and her husband.

    1. Yep. We discovered it is on the Roku channel. We were watching it when it was out, but stopped when we ditched DirecTv back in 2009 and never finished it. Glad we can now.
