--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!
Goodbye February, Hello March!
Tomorrow I put this banner up.

On the Home Front: Our granddaughter Kyleigh turned 7 on Monday and her party was at the skating rink. Trip complained his feet killed him and when he went to bed he felt like he was still skating. lol

My youngest son Kyle (20) had a job interview at hubby's workplace on Monday. They called him the next day to begin his on boarding. So, basically, what that means is he does all the tasks, passes the drug test (he will), and he's officially hired. All of this will take about 3 weeks. After the interview was over they asked him if he had any questions for them and his reply: "Yes. What is your favorite cheese?" He said they not only LOL'd, but answered the question and had a short discussion about cheese. Was that what got him hired? This was his first ever interview and he has zero work experience. His dad is well-liked there and they are hiring a shitton of people for the new production lines coming in, but would that be enough? So, all Hail the Cheese! lololol

Anna is looking for another job, so she put an application in also. Her interview is tomorrow. Our family is taking over! Muahahahaha! Just kidding. I'm not sure if their hours will work for her. She applied for the Graphic Arts program at the local community college and was accepted for this Fall. So I'm not sure how that will work. I guess she'll find out tomorrow.

I had to get Kyle a new phone because his stopped making and receiving calls and when the new phone got here Thursday it was doing the same thing plus it wouldn't connect to mobile data. So, we got a piece of shit phone. I spent most of Friday fucking around with that problem. GAH! Anyway, it's on its way back to Verizon and he's getting a different model than that one because fuck that noise.

Yesterday Anna and I took her car to get inspected so I can get the sticker for it (we may have also had breakfast next door at the tiny diner while we waited nomnomnom) then we went to Kohl's for interview clothes for her. I may have gotten a super duper soft pair of pants with Santas on them that will work as jammie pants. $6! I also might have bought a Mandalorian t-shirt. :D

Hubby will be back from training in Iowa on Friday and that's all there will be. They want to ramp up the production line on March 8th, so I guess it's sink or swim time then. Just kidding. Everyone will be learning together, so the company isn't expecting miracles right away. lol OH! In other news, remember how hubby got unfairly fired from his job of 25 yrs back in 2019? We just heard a rumor the company is selling that plant. Hold on a minute while I HAHAHAHA! Assholes. I honestly don't know how they've managed to stay in business with their shitty fucking management and working their employees into the ground. Anyway, I hope it's true and good riddance to them.

Touching Nature: Wow! it was 71º on Weds and the 60s on Thurs. Other than that it's been cold and wet. Ahhhh, Spring.

Book News: I'm in so many tours right now. Between The Write Reads and the finalists of the BBNYA I'm not getting any other reading done. But that's ok. I'll get there eventually. lol

Don't Touch That Dial!: Trip and I finished season 2 of The Mandalorian and next up is The Force Awakens. *sigh* I just want to go back and watch The Mandalorian all over again. lol

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Nope

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: I should start a business where I adult for someone who wants a vacation from adulting. Because if I could use one of those then I know others could, too.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.
