--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: An easy week. Hubby's plane came in at 5:30pm in Raleigh on Friday. Traffic was not as horrible as I anticipated, but the airport is bigger than I'm used to. I mean, it's been a million years since I flew out of Cleveland which is probably comparable and Greensboro is tiny-ish as is Akron-Canton. I mean, you know the airport is small when the bathroom only has 4 stalls. LOL Anyway, I picked him up with only a few small issues. Lucky me gets to drive the hour to and hour back to the airport only 4 more times as he flies out again in a week for 3 weeks of training before coming home for a week and back for 3 more weeks of training. I've mentioned it before but he is loving the training. He wishes the person training him was better at it, but it is what it is. He said, if they'd let him, he would stay and train until the day they close that plant and move everything to NC. I said, "But that's JUNE!" That's how much he likes the job. lol

We had the grandkiddos for an overnight last night. I also got a fraud alert call & text from our credit card company that our card was compromised. Someone spent $99.95 at a gas station in Mesquite Nevada! I was like, um, no. We're in NC. So new cards are coming and hopefully they'll be here before he heads back to Iowa. Which makes me wonder why they never questioned his purchases in Iowa while I was using my card in NC.

Touching Nature: Typical NC weather. Chilly at night, a little warmer during the day. 40s/20s My daffodils are blooming. Dafuq

Book News: Fuck.  I have 12 reviews to write. *slowly slides under desk*

  1. It's great your husband is enjoying his training so much. One of my iris bloomed. I like this weather compared to Minnesota. I hope you got your power back today.

  2. At least he is getting something out of the training, in my experience those sort of things have been dull and useless.
Glad the fraud was caught, maybe because the card was already being used in two places the third raised the flag.
Love the cover of Marrow Charm, and Psychopath has piqued my interest.

Wishing you a great reading week
