--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: This month is cruising by so fast! I hate being busy.

Touching Nature: Transplanted a million tomato plants. Cut some trees. Got more rain and some wind. It was hot and humid a couple days, cooled down, and now it's raining again with temps climbing. That's about it for me here in NC.

Book News: I finished reviews then finished another book. Need to write that review. Maybe today. We'll see. Currently 9 books behind schedule for my Goodreads Challenge. I'm taking July off from the blog to build up some reviews, but I'll still check in with The Sunday Post.

Don't Touch That Dial!: Hubby and I are cruising right along with our Psych rewatch. Roped Trip and Kyle in for it because we all love the show. The boys and I are now watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars in our Star Wars chronological rewatch. We finished disk 1 in the season 1 DVD set.

At the Flicks: Not yet. Spider-Man: Far From Home is coming up!

Cyberspace Playground: Nothing to see here.

Randomness: Pffft. That's a beginner's number.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Don't sneeze while carrying a full mug of hot tea (or coffee or hot chocolate).

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. Congrats on all that garden work despite the heat and humidity. I don't do humidity well 🙄

Let's not talk about how behind I am on my review writing - haven't even updated goodreads since like May.... But imagine all the material I have once I get my butt in gear 😁 LOL! Have a great week!

    1. I hate humidity. And the heat. And bugs. But otherwise I love the outdoors. LOL

May?! In the words of George Takei, "Oh, myyyyy." lol You'll get there.

  2. I really miss my garden this year. I know I still have a little time but I just don't think I will be able to until next year. I will miss my yummy tomatoes.

I have a few reviews to write but nothing that I have been keeping track of, I have been a bad book blogger. September is always my fresh start so the summer will be slower.

Have a great week, Carol! PS don't sneeze if you have to pee either.

    1. We got stuff planted really late, so we'll see how they do. I hope I get at least some tomatoes. Because yum.

I have one to write. I should do that now. Hmmm...

  3. Haaa tomato plants! Yes it takes time but they taste so much better than the ones we buy in stores!

  4. Lol, beginners numbers indeed! I’m a fair bit ahead in my goodreads challenge, just barely in front by like two days with reviews

    Have a great reading week

  5. I just got so obscenely, cheesily excited about tomato plants. I guess I just really love tomatoes? Oh man, do I. Anyways, this month really has been going by quickly! I feel like this year has been a blur. It's wild. I feel like I have so many of Skye Warren's books but I just haven't gotten to them yet for one reason or another, shame on me!

    1. Home grown tomatoes...there's really nothing like them. I hope we get at least some of the plants producing. *fingers crossed*

  6. We transplanted a load of tomato plants this week... We also planted some potatoes so I'm curious as to how they turn out.

9 books behind on Goodreads is fine. You've still got over 5 months to catch up.

    1. Ooooh! Good luck! We haven't done potatoes yet. I think we'll try those next year.

Yep. Totally not worried about it. Yet. lol

  7. My yard is a mess. Bravo for getting so much done. And I hope the weather gets better. We are steamy hot here.

    1. We've been hot, but at least the rain stopped for awhile. Yikes. The weather all over is just insane.
