--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: This month is going to be busy with appts and shit. I hate it already.

Touching Nature: Well, I said we needed rain. Aren't I the dumbfuck. Rain, rain, rain. Go away. We've had more than enough now. Yeesh.

Book News: I'm working on finishing several books and I've finished 3 reviews. Only 1 left, but since it's not due until August I'll probably procrastinate until the end of July by which time I won't remember anything about it. lol

Don't Touch That Dial!: Cruising right through Criminal Minds. Wait. I just saw that Netflix only has through season 12 and that's the season we're on. Wtf. Where's 13 & 14? I guess I should probably be thinking about what we'll watch next. Maybe we should do a restart of Supernatural since we never made it past season 9. Ok, no, hubby wants to finally finish Psych. lol

At the Flicks: Godzilla: King of Monsters. The boys loved it. It's more their thing than mine, but I thought it was a decent flick.

Cyberspace Playground: Nothing

Randomness: Just as it's about perfect...every fucking time.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Remember, it's okay to celebrate the small things. Because cake.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. Amelia Hutchins is on my authors to read list... She's one of the RARE 2020 authors and I'm trying to read as many of the attendees as I can before the event.

I hate months that are full of appointments and things that must be done too. Fingers crossed you still find time to do the things you want to do!

    1. I haven't heard about this event. I need to check it out.

I hate appts (for me or any of the family), but having many in one month is just ridiculous. lol

  2. Summer is such a busy time for many of us. We've had rain for days too but the sun is out right now and I'm going to go jump in the pool before more rain moves in. Which it will soon. I binged Criminal Minds too and couldn't believe the last couple of seasons weren't on there. That happens too often.

  4. Summer is a in between. Sometimes it's crazy and sometimes not so much. I am hoping it will be not so much this time.

We have had some pretty nice days, not super hot but just gorgeous in the am. No rain for a couple of days but I think we get back to rain this week.

I don't think we past season 9 either, I think that is when we bailed on it. I might try again...maybe.

Have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading! xx

    1. We had crazy downpours the last couple days, but it's sunny and cool today. I wish it would stay this way for awhile. *sigh*

Trip, hubby and I watched Supernatural so it's been hard to get us all together to watch it. We can do it on hubby's off days now. I just want to finish it.

  5. Seems like you’re a little frustrated, I hope it’s not quite as bad as you expect.

    Have a great reading week

  6. We have a pile of appointments also. And yes, it's been raining now about 4-5 days a week. It does seem to be keeping the temps cooler. And at least it isn't rainy the whole day. Enjoy your reads!
