Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front: Taxes! I have to get our taxes done!
In other news, on Weds. hubby had to go to nights on a 4 shift alignment. So, he works 7pm-7:30am, 2 days on, 2 off, 3 on, etc. which means he'll have every other F-S-S off. Having him on night shift sucks. Big time. He did this alignment before only he was days. Luckily, when the new guys are trained he'll go to days. Much better that way though I'll be getting up at 5:30am when he does. Ewwww. lol
Touching Nature: Mostly warm during the day, cold enough at night for frost on the car windows, then some rain (ok, all day rain) and some cooler temps. It's basically typical Spring weather here in NC. Things are blooming, some trees are starting to bust out their leaves - it's nice.
Book News: I finished the 1 review I needed to get done for Tuesday, but that's it. I'm now sitting on 4 reviews and I'm over half done with another book. Oops.
Don't Touch That Dial!: Some Criminal Minds, watched Duke lose (bwahahahaha!), watched the Indians home opener and games after, and the Hurricanes make it into the playoffs. Yay!! That's a lot of sports for me. lol
At the Flicks: So the kids are talking about Hellboy, Shazam!, and Avengers: Endgame. I don't mind seeing Hellboy, I'll pass on Shazam!, and I'm definitely all in for Endgame.
Cyberspace Playground: Nothing
Randomness: I tried. I really did.
Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: *nods* I intend to.

Yayy for getting taxes done! I cannot wait for warmer weather, days are somewhat warm here but nights are still cold. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt's a load off my back. Almost literally. lol
DeleteI need to get my taxes done too! My husband has been working the night shift since we first got married and I hate it! He works for UPS, and it's really hard to get a day shift. So I totally understand! I'm behind on my reading too. So this week isn't going to have a lot of reviews.
ReplyDeleteLindy@ A Bookish Escape
Night shift sucks. My husband worked 2nd for many years and it's probably the best shift, but I'll be happy when he goes to 12 hr days.
DeleteOur tax season isn’t for another couple of months, same with Spring LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave a great reading week :)
Shelleyrae @ Book’d Out
Better get started. lol
DeleteI am so glad my taxes are done. I'm enjoying spring although we are getting a bit more rain with the warmer weather. I'm here in NC and it's 3 days a week of rain instead of 1 but more 70s now instead of 50-60.
ReplyDeleteI too have the issue of reviews piling up while I keep reading. Happy reading!
Anne - Books of My Heart Here is my Sunday Post
I really should have done them in Feb because March was crazy. Ah, well. They're done. :)
DeleteI may have piled up a few more reviews. sigh lol
