My Rating ~ 3 bites

Nick Christos and Casey Meyers are neighbors in a swanky high rise apartment building. Nick is rich. Casey is not. When her parents die and she becomes an adult orphan, her rich aunt (former uncle) persuades her to move in with her. But Aunt Teddie is never home, so Casey has the place to herself. But Nick spends a lot of time there. Mostly nights. Because we find out he’s a vampire. And he has the hots for Casey, but that’s ok because she has the hots for him. Except for the whole vampire thing which he does not tell her about even as he stupidly draws attention to her in his world. What a dick.

This story is only ok for me. The writing is repetitive and the characters are ho hum. Casey’s constant whining about her chunky self is a huge turn off. Nick’s continued lying about who he is, also turn off. Casey is much too cool when she does find out about Nick the Vampire. I love Aunt Teddie though. The rest of the characters are forgettable. Not the worst book I’ve read, but certainly not the best.
