Candy Jameson wants out
of the small town she’s been stuck in ever since she followed her jerk ex
there. She’s tired of gossip and just wants to pay off her debt and get out of
Dodge. Working in a bowling alley isn’t the most exciting job in the world, but
it pays the bills. However, when Sterling Dey shows up to get ready for a big
tournament and his return after a nine year absence on the pro circuit, sparks
fly between them. With Sterling leaving
in a month, can they have some fun and then let each other go?
This is a great contemporary
romance with wonderful writing and a western flare. Centering around a pro
bowler is something I haven’t read before, so bonus points for the unusual
occupation. Candy and Sterling are great characters with a lot of depth and a
few hang ups. The sexy scenes are fan-worthy, especially that first one which I
won’t give away because it’s awesome. LOL I don’t read contemporary romance
much anymore, but this one is well worth the read. If you pick it up, you won’t
be disappointed.
