--- AVR News Update ---
Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front: This week is Spring Break, so I turned off my school alarm on Friday after I got the boys up. This is also hubby's short week, so he put in for vacay on Weds-Thurs and then found out the plant will be closed on his scheduled days of the 17th and 18th, so starting tomorrow he has 11 days off. Which means, this morning after I got up to pack his lunch I've also turned off his work alarm. Sleeping in, baby! Woot woot! Maybe we'll get some stuff done outside including some shelves in the Exterior Library. Hope the weather cooperates.

Touching Nature: Well, we had some really nice weather and then it got chilly for a couple days. So much so I was forced to turn on the furnace again. Dammit! We've also had several t-storms roll through that washed some of gravel drive yet again, but nothing horrendous and yay for the tractor working. Hubby will fix that shit this week.

Book News: I wrote 8 reviews on Friday. I thought I was gonna die. But I survived! I am now current in reading, reviews and posts drafted. Woot!

Don't Touch That Dial!: A few episodes of a Star Wars: Clone Wars rewatch with Trip, but that's about it.

At the Flicks: Nothing, but we should be seeing Power Rangers this week.

Cyberspace Playground: Watched a little YouTube while eating, but nothing too exciting.

Randomness: It was ugly, so very ugly, but we'll take the win. Congrats Tar Heels!

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: Home safety 101 is about something you should have multiples of and I'm not talking about guns cuz 'Murica. It's about smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. You can never have too many of them. Plain and simple.

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.

  1. If you are feeling stressed, there's nothing like a visit to the library. No guilt there!

  2. I can't wait to see your outdoor library finished! You better make a video tour, I need to live through you for a few! :) Enjoy the break! I bet everyone is happy to have the time off.

I have been turning the heat on and off all week, I wish it would just pick something and stick with it. We have been doing this for like 4 months now. It's suppose to be really warm this week, it's about time, I hope it says that way!

Have a great week, Carol! Happy Reading! oxox

  3. Now that, is a big box set. What is that? Twenty one books?! You'll have to do a series review for that one! Have a good week, and happy reading! :)

  4. Great job on catching up on your reviews! I have 2 reviews to write and I'm being lazy lol. I know I should write the reviews once I'm done reading but I start another book right away lol. I can't wait to see your library. I hope you have a great week!
