Kat Dubois is a tattoo artist in Seattle. And an Immortal. That’s about as interesting as this gets. I know I finished this back in February 2025, but I didn’t need to refresh myself to remember how underwhelmed I was with this. It sounds exciting! It’s not. Kat is one of the most unlikeable MC’s I’ve read in awhile. The magic sounds cool and the premise sounds great. The execution leaves much to be desired. I will pass on the rest of this series.
