Hello and Happy Sunday!
On the Home Front
Sunday ~ I really need to remember to do updates every day. I suck. On the other hand, nothing bad happened or I'd remember that. Oh, oh! I went to CVS to see if there was chocolate on sale. I picked up some Russell Stover marshmallow hearts. I love those things. Except they only had marshmallow and no caramel, truffle, strawberry or raspberry. Boo. It rained all day. Leftovers for dinner.
Monday ~ Anna and Kyle doing OT this week, so out of the house by 4:20am and home after 4pm. Did laundry. Computer stuff. Um, I can't remember what else. Leftovers/fend for yourself for dinner.
Tuesday ~ I am terrible. I cannot remember what I did today. Wait! Actually I think I read most of the day. And I made lasagna for dinner, but I used ground turkey instead of ground beef. Was tasty.
Wednesday ~ Took Kyle's car for inspection and had breakfast at Pano's next door. Then Trip and I ran it through the car wash (and vacuumed) before doing the grocery shopping. We only hit up BJ's and Food Lion this week. Didn't need a whole lot. Trip walked to the jeweler's to get his necklace fixed. I'm not buying anything by that company again. Not the jeweler, the jewelry company. It's the same brand he's been having problems with the bracelet. I was going to get him another bracelet by them, but now I'm thinking no. Came home, put away groceries, Trip helped me feed the critters, and I hopped on the computer and paid for Kyle's registration sticker. When Anna got home after an appointment and birthday present shopping I put the sticker on her plate that's been sitting on the counter being forgotten over and over. lol At 3:00 I left to pick up Kyle from work and reminded Anna that Nancy was coming at 3:30 to do the dogs' nails. It's been a month. Stupid weather preventing me from keeping their trims up to date. At least I don't have to be the one to hold them this time. Ha! Made chicken and dumplings for dinner.
Thursday ~ I went to the dentist and got my chompers polished, stopped and filled up the tank on the Pilot, and swung by CVS to get my Covid and RSVP shots. Wait...RSV, no P. lmao Waded through emails, did some stuff on the computer. Leftovers for dinner.
Friday ~ Artemis had an appointment to get her ProHeart shot and afterwards I swung through the CVS drive-thru to pick up prescriptions. I feel like I spend half my life picking up prescriptions. lol Did a bit of computer stuff then finished a book for review. Wrapped Kyleigh's birthday presents, tidied up one end of my ginormous island then the junk removal guy came and took away a bunch of unsightly junk outside. Yay! Except I forgot to get a before photo. I do have one from the snow. Leftovers for dinner. Anna went out bowling with a co-worker. Since the guy also works with Kyle I'll assume he'll be a gentleman. Or else. Went to bed late because I was watching The Mentalist.
The snow hides a lot of the junk. lol
3 washing machines, 2 grills, a push mower, a bike,
14 tires, weed eater, chainsaw, office chair,
and various other detritus.
Saturday ~ Woke up around 9:00am. The dogs went out late last night so I wasn't worried about them being late to go out this morning. Rainy out and cooler than yesterday which reached 76º. We call that False Spring. lol Supposed to be chilly for a couple days this coming week then warm up a bit again. The rain went away and the sun came out, so I opened the windows in the afternoon for a couple of hours of nice fresh air then we started smelling wood smoke so had to close them. I'll try another day before the pollen starts revving up production. Anna and Trip went to Kyleigh's birthday party at a roller rink. I did the cleaning. I was going to bake some chicken legs and breasts for dinner, but it was getting late (6pm) and I didn't feel like it so I heated up a couple of frozen pizzas. We'll have the chicken tomorrow.
Today I need to make boiled eggs in the Instant Pot then some chicken breasts to shred for the dogs. I might putter around the house or I may just read. We'll see what I feel like doing.
