The Ocean at the End of the Lane ~ Audiobook Review

A brilliantly imaginative and poignant fairy tale from the modern master of wonder and terror, The Ocean at the End of the Lane is Neil Gaiman’s first new novel for adults since his #1 New York Times bestseller Anansi Boys.

This bewitching and harrowing tale of mystery and survival, and memory and magic, makes the impossible all too real...

This story is about a middle-aged man who goes back to visit the place where he grew up. His memory of that time is different than what it is when he gets there. He starts remembering things he forgot. Extraordinary things. Terrifying things. And a friendship he can’t believe he didn’t remember. Or does he? What is the truth? And does he really want to know?

What an imaginative and horrifying tale! How to review it without giving anything away? It’s so hard! This is a book that is best going into blind. I’ll say this: It’ll keep you on the edge of your seat! Extra points for the author narrating the book. Great job!
