Hello and Happy Sunday!

On the Home Front:  Another busy week. It started out pretty nice then the weather got hot and humid. Gross. 

Tuesday Anna, Jess, and I went to Jess's storage units and cleared out 1 of the small ones. It took hours. 1 small and 1 big to go.

Wednesday we did grocery pick up.

 

Thursday morning the guys and I moved a couple pallets of cement blocks to an area we cleared first. Then we were moving the rest of the wood out from under the deck when we hit a hornet's nest. Multiple stings and 3 cans of Raid later I think we killed them all. So, the wood didn't get moved. Yet. Kyle grilled burgers on the grill and I did 3 lbs of bacon on the griddle. We did fireworks after dark.

Friday we took Kyle's car for an oil change and had breakfast at Pano's. After getting home I did all of the Saturday cleaning as well as the first weekend of the month cleaning so I would have my weekend free to read. My left hand, wrist and bicep that took the hits from the hornets swelled up quite nicely and itched like a mofo. I had to go out and get some antihistamine.

Saturday, took an antihistamine and iced my swollen hand and wrist. Then passed out for several hours from the antihistamine. I still managed to get most of my BBNYA Round 1 excerpts read though.

Today I'm going to finish the last of the BBNYA Round 1 excerpts then finish a tour book and read another tour book. Hopefully.

Touching Nature: Hot. Humid. Hornet stings. Some rain, but no relief.

Book News: I'm trying, but not making a whole lot of progress.

Don't Touch That Dial!:  Still watching Burn Notice and rewatching Supernatural: big finale of season 5 is next. Watched Jaws last night.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Wordle, Word Lots, Crossword Jam, Solitaire, jigsaw puzzles

Randomness:  No lies detected.

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom: When something isn't working and fixing it is not an option then it's time for a change.
