Hello and Happy Sunday!

My 53rd birthday was Friday. Hubby picked the cake. Little does he realize that The Mandalorian is my new fantasy boyfriend. Sorry Spike and Geralt. And hubby. LOL

On the Home Front: This week had St. Patty's Day, my birthday, and the first day of Spring. Other than that there wasn't much going on. Trip and I did the Walmart grocery pick up on Thursday because Friday was my birthday and I refuse to adult on my birthday. Or Mother's Day. Anyway, it went much more smoothly than it has for the last month+, so maybe I'll switch to Thurs instead.

Kyle starts work at hubby's place of employment tomorrow. He doesn't have to be there until 8am and hubby leaves for work at a little after 6, so I'll take him and pick him back up since he probably won't be there all day. Orientation is Tuesday and he'll probably start at 8 again which means I'll be driving him again. After that he should be able to ride with hubby. I hope. lol Kyle has a license but we don't have a car for him to drive yet. I've been looking but I refuse to be rushed into a decision. Also, he's super rusty at driving. I want him to drive around the roads here for a good while before attempting the highway. Anyway, he should be on 1st shift and working in hubby's area so they can just ride together.

And finally, thank fuck the bathroom doesn't smell like dead mouse anymore. I went through 4 big candles I had bought on sale after Christmas, so now I don't have any pine scented candels. LOL I told hubby, when we eventually gut the bathroom to remodel we'll find their little skeletons (becasue that wasn't the first one) under our tub. Gross. He did manage to catch 4 mice so far in his homemade trap in the crawlspace so there should be no more of the little fuckers crawling under our tub to croak and stink us up.

Touching Nature: Rain, more rain, chillier weather, storm, rain. We'll be back to warmer temps this coming week. It's really time to get crackin' on outdoor clean up and planting. I did get some brush burned last Sunday and cleaned out my bulb bed as well as a couple of planters.

Book News: I have way too many books started and need to finish them. At least I only have 3 reviews to write though. That's good, right? lol

Don't Touch That Dial!: The Hurricanes are still playing, Indians are starting soon, and the Tar Heels are out. Hubby and I have watched Star Wars: The Clone Wars (the movie) and started the series.

At the Flicks: Nope

Cyberspace Playground: Nope

Randomness:

Carol's Nuggets of Wisdom:

That's it for me. AVR News Update signing off. May all your books enthrall you.
